Abstract
PURPOSE:To obviate the deposition of solid matter and nozzle clogging and to prevent high-temp. fluid from being sprayed in a low-temp. state by using a valve disk contg. a shape memory metal which has a size to shield an aperture and is transformed by the high-temp. fluid. CONSTITUTION:A valve plate 8 made of the shape memory metal is pulled by a bias spring 10 to hold the terminal of a tubular body 2 open while the temp. of the fluid is lower than the transformation temp. of the valve plate 8. Since the fluid flows in a spray header 1 for a while without being ejected from a nozzle 3, the solid matter deposited in the header 1 is flushed away by the fluid. The valve plate 8 is deformed to close the aperture 5 by overcoming the pulling force of the bias spring 10 when the valve plate 8 is heated by the high-temp. fluid to the temp. above the transformation point and, therefore, the high-temp. fluid is ejected from the spray nozzle 3. As a result, the degradation in the quality by the spraying of the low-temp. fluid is prevented.
