Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the proper driving force when escaping from a slip or lock state by keeping the speed change ratio immediately before or adjusting it to the proper value when the rotating speed change quantity of driving wheels and the rotating speed difference from driven wheels are both outside the preset ranges. CONSTITUTION:When the rotating speed change quantity of driving wheels Wr detected by a sensor Sc and the rotating speed difference from driven wheels Wf detected by a sensor Sf are both outside the preset ranges respectively, a control unit C judges as a slip state or a lock state. The speed change ratio of a continuously variable transmission TM, i.e., the inclination angle of a motor swash plate 27 detected by a sensor Se is kept at the value immediately before. When at least one of them is within the preset value range, the speed change speed is adjusted in response to the rotating speed of an engine E, the rotating speed of driving wheels Wr, or the rotating speed of driven wheels Wf detected by the sensors Sa, Sc, Sf. When a vehicle thus escapes from a slip state or a lock state, the speed change ratio suitable for the actual vehicle speed is secured, and the proper driving force can be obtained.
