Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily and accurately confirm the blood stored in a cylindrical blood storage part visually without generating air bubbles in blood, by allowing blood to rotationally flow along the inner peripheral wall surface of the cylindrical blood storage part through the blood introducing tubular body provided to the side wall part of said blood storage part in the direction tangential thereto. CONSTITUTION:A blood pump 38 is operated to intermittently introduce the blood flowing through the artery of a patient A into a tubular body 36 through the puncture needle on an artery side and this blood is supplied to a tubular body 40 to be introduced into a blood storage utensil 10. In this case, the blood introduced through the tubular body 40 falls so as to rotate along the inner peripheral wall surface of the blood storage part 11 constituting said blood storage utensil 10 to be stored in the blood storage part 11. That is, the blood is introduced into the blood storage part 11 so as to upwardly turn to the inner wall of the lid body 14 of the blood storage part 11 and begins to fall along said inner wall. Therefore, it is prevented that blood falls under introducing pressure or gravity to impinges with impact on the surface of the blood preliminarily stored in said blood storage utensil 10 and no air bubbles are generated.
