Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the fire alarm and information in a comparatively simple and accurate way by deciding the outbreak of a fire based on the absorption resonance of CO gas, the simultaneous detection of radiation of black bodies set at a prescribed level or the time variation. CONSTITUTION:An infrared ray detecting part D contains BPF 1a-1c and infrared ray detectors 2a-2c. The BPF 1a and 1b have their transmitting peaks on the absorption resonance lines of CO gas and CO2 gas respectively. While the BPF 1c is used as a filter where the radiation peak is transmitted by the temperature of a black body. Each detector 2 sends the output signal to a signal processing circuit 5 based on the change of the infrared rays transmitted through each filter. The circuit 5 turns these output signals into the digital ones and produces an incomplete combustion signal from the CO detection signal and the temperature detection signal and a fire signal from the CO2 detection signal and the temperature detection signal. Furthermore the circuit 5 sends the fire information based on the measurement of the time variations of said three detection signals.
