Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the error of an output current to be generated when a most significant bit changes its logical level, in case of a binary code is monotonically increased by providing plural constant current sources, which output as taking a partial charge, the output current corresponding to the most significant bit, for the most significant bit, at least, of the inputted binary code. CONSTITUTION:An OR circuit 4 and an AND circuit 5 take respectively the logical sum and the logical product of the bits D2, D3 of the binary code to be inputted, and determine the logical levels of node A0, A2. Switching transistors(TR) 10, 11 input respectively bits D0, D1 to their gates, and the gates of the switching TRs 12-14 are respectively connected to the nodes A0, A1, A2. Respective output currents of the constant current sources 20-24 are respectively outputted to an output terminal 3 when the gates of the switching TRs 10-14 come to the logical level 1, and make the output current IOUT. Thus, the constant current sources 24-20, whose output currents are switched and outputted when the logical level '0' of the respective bits D3-D0 of the binary code to be inputted change into the logical '1', are usable even if they are small-sized.
