Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent leak of a viscous material through simple constitution and to facilitate manufacture of a mechanism, by a method wherein at least either a cavity or a cap is made of plastic. CONSTITUTION:A cavity 12 is manufactured by injection-molding glass-filled polycarbonate resin. A cap 13 is manufactured by press-processing by using a metallic sheet. In a subassemble process, silicon oil 14 is placed in the cavity 12, and a viscous rotor 11 is dropped in the oil 14. Consecutively, the cap 13 is pressed in the cavity 12 with interference. The cap 13 and the cavity 12 are not considered to be round, but since the material of the cavity 12 is softer than that of the cap 13, the cavity 12 is deformed in conformity with the configuration of the cap 13. The deformation of the cavity causes adhesion of the cap 13 to the driving part of the cavity 12 throughout a whole periphery, resulting in prevention of leak of oil 14 past the driving part.
