Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of detecting air pollution by detecting the temperature change of an air pollution sensor, and compensating the light emitting amount of a light emitter to a preset value in the case that the temperature change has an effect on the light receiving amount of a light receiving element. CONSTITUTION:A thermistor 50 detects the temperature change of an air pollution sensor 10 as a resistance change so as to input it into a conversion circuit 51. The conversion circuit 51 makes voltage conversion thereof so as to input it into a control unit 30. The control unit 30 judges whether or not the temperature change is a rapid change enough to cause the mis-operation of a selecting damper 41. In the case of a rapid change, the light emitting amount of a light emitter 14 is compensated to a preset value. With this constitution, despite a rapid change in temperature, the degree of pollution in outside air can be detected with high accuracy.
