DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for producing a knitted fabric with tassel decoration. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, knitted fabrics with tassel decorations have been manufactured for use as furniture covers such as tablecloths and bed covers, skirt decorations such as curtains, and edge decorations such as shawls and mufflers. Warp knitting is well known as one type of these knitted fabrics with tassel decoration. A tassel-decorated knitted fabric by conventional warp knitting is knitted by knitting two plain knitted fabric parts including a plurality of chain wales with a gap of several needles within the knitting width, and inserting yarns constituting the tassel part into the The plain knitted fabric part is folded back and inserted into knitting, and the inserted yarn is hooked with a hook between the plain knitted fabric parts and pulled out to an appropriate length to create a double part, and after knitting, this double part is The tassel portion is formed by cutting.

However, the reed, which is equipped with a guide that guides the inserted thread that makes up the tassel part, reciprocates in the direction of the needle row, so the width of the movement (wrapping) of the reed is proportional to the length of the suspended slide part. Due to this limitation, it is difficult to increase the length of the tufted part taking into account the knitting width, and moreover, it requires a complicated mechanism to drive the hook needle to catch the inserted thread that will become the tufted part. As a result, it was not possible to increase the rotational speed of the knitting machine, which kept productivity extremely low.

The present invention was made to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and uses a normal warp knitting machine with a weft insertion mechanism.
Manufacture of a knitted fabric with tassel decoration that allows the length of the tassel threads to be freely adjusted without any special equipment, provides high productivity, and prevents the tassel threads from falling out during use. The purpose is to provide a method.

Next, an example of the manufacturing method of the present invention will be explained in detail based on the drawings. Fig. 1 is a knitting structure diagram for knitting the example knitted fabric, A and B are plain knitted fabric parts, and a plurality of The plain knitted fabric parts A and B are knitted at appropriate intervals, and each plain knitted fabric part A and B has 4
A chain yarn 1 in a row, a weft insertion yarn 2 which is folded back and inserted into the chain wale of the chain yarn 1, and a weft insertion yarn 3 which is entangled with the chain yarn 1 to reinforce the plain knitting part and prevent expansion and contraction. At the same time, the straight weft yarn 4 constituting the tufted yarn portion is first inserted continuously in the first two courses, then the next four courses are paused, and then the next two courses are inserted again to form one repeat. is repeatedly inserted and knitted into the plain knitted fabric parts A and B, where E is the gap part,
The spacing may be set as appropriate depending on the thickness of the straight weft yarn 4. In this example, nine rayon yarns with 500 d of lame were inserted in a row, so the needle 2
It was formed by fulfilling one's duty. 1' is a chain yarn made of plain knitted fabrics A and B arranged in parallel at an appropriate interval.

After knitting the base fabric 5 as shown in FIG. 2 as described above, the straight weft yarns 4 passed across are divided in the knitting direction between each plain knitted fabric. If the chain thread 1' is cut on the line C--C between ' and removed after sewing or before use, the alignment of the tassel threads can be maintained, which is very advantageous in terms of handling. However, as shown in Figure 3, after forming a single plain knit 5',
Wrap it into a roll to the appropriate length.

When sewing the single knitted fabric 5' as described above to the attached part 6 as shown in Fig. 4, it is bent at the gap E and the plain knitted fabric parts A and B are overlapped and sewn. 7
Alternatively, the plain knitted fabric portions A and B are sewn in a staggered manner so that the straight wefts 4 are alternately arranged. A thicker tassel portion D can be obtained than when they are overlapped, and when they are offset, a three-dimensional shape in which the tassels come in and out alternately in the sewing direction can be obtained. In the above embodiment, two straight weft yarns 4 are passed across each course with a gap of four courses, but if the straight weft yarns 4 are passed across every course, a continuous tuft of uniform thickness can be obtained.
In this way, it can be inserted every course or with intervals of one to several courses. Furthermore, if the straight weft yarns 4 are divided into waves, a tufted portion D' having a different appearance can be obtained. Furthermore, as described above, by shifting the plain knitted fabric portions A and B by one heap, the decorative effect can be enhanced as shown in FIG.

The above-described present invention provides a method for producing a knitted fabric with tassel decoration, in which the gap portion is sandwiched and the plain knitted fabric portion including the chain wale is knitted at an appropriate interval, and the straight line forming the tuft portion with respect to the chain wale is knitted. After forming a base fabric by inserting weft threads in a single course or in multiple courses at intervals of several courses, the passed weft threads are divided in the knitting direction between the plain knitted fabrics and bent at the gap. I decided to sew the plain knitted fabric part, so
The length of the tassel part can be freely selected by simply changing the spacing of the chain yarns on the plain knitted fabric part, regardless of the width of movement of the reed, and there is no need to use auxiliary means such as hooks, which improves productivity. Tufting by warp knitting can be efficiently knitted without deteriorating the tassel yarns, and the straight weft yarns that become the tassel yarns can be bent and sewn in the gaps to prevent the straight weft yarns from slipping out. This is an improved method for producing knitted fabrics.
