Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform effective and efficient self-diagnosis, by always reexamining a check program by using the data under an actual use condition. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage control unit 1, a scanner unit 2 and an operating unit 3 are mutually connected and operated according to a measuring sequence and collect the X-ray transmission data of an examinee to form the tomographic image of the examinee. A self-diagnostic unit 4 periodically checks whether the operations of the units 1-3 are normal. The data of the check results are gathered to a service center 7 to be analyzed by the data analyzing computer of the service center 7. Herein, the life of a part or variation of characteristics under an actual use condition or the use state of the apparatus at the user's office are elucidated. From these data, the reexamination of a check program for self-diagnosis is performed to perform the renewal of the check program.
