Abstract
PURPOSE:To support an antenna coil at a region to be detected and to easily perform accurate measurement, by inserting the antenna coil, which is formed into a spirally wound shape so as to have springiness, in the body cavity through an endoscope and supporting said coil at the region to be detected by energizing force generated when the coil is pressed to the region to be detected. CONSTITUTION:An examinee 24 is placed on a bed 23 and a static magnetic field is applied to the examinee 24 by a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) apparatus 26. The insert part 2 of an endoscope 1 equipped with an NMR measuring antenna coil 17 is inserted in the examinee 24 from the oral cavity and, for example, when an abnormal region 33 as a region to be detected is discovered at the front in the insert direction by an observation optical system, the guide tube 20 of a leading end part 12 is protruded by operating a curving operating knob 13 to press the antenna coil 17 to the abnormal region. The antenna coil 17 is energized to be supported by the abnormal region. High frequency is sent out to the antenna coil 17 from a high frequency generator 22 to output a high frequency magnetic field to the abnormal region 33. The NMR signal from the abnormal region 33 is received by the antenna coil 17 and measured by an NMR signal detection circuit 21 to make it possible to detect, for example, the cancer of the abnormal region 33.
