Abstract
PURPOSE:To satisfactorily secure the seal performance at a side part of a blade, and to prevent a generated toner cloud from leaking out to the outside, by providing a mechanism for a retraction of the blade and an oscillation, and providing a specific side seal. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is constituted so that a side seal 35 is provided by allowing it to correspond to both end parts of a blade 20 on an opening part of a housing 15 of a cleaning device 10, a side face part 36 of the side seal 35, and a horizontal part 37 are placed at the inside of a side part seal, and at the lower part of the blade 20, respectively, and also, at the time of operation of the blade 20, both side parts of the blade 20 are allowed to slide- contact with the horizontal part 37 of the side seal 35. Accordingly, at the time of operation of the blade 20, the end part of the blade 20 slides against the horizontal part 37 of the side seal 35 so that an undesirable influence to the blade 20 is not generated, and also, at the time of retraction of the blade 20, the blade 20 is separated from the horizontal part 37 of the side seal 35, therefore, the seal by the side 35 can be secured.
