Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute a flexible processing at high speed by obtaining a singular point as the deciding point of discrimination and discriminating the point with a binary processing. CONSTITUTION:A decision is executed only by black and white decision with binary data concerning a necessary singular point. Namely, one frame of a binary signal Sb of a pattern to be the object of pattern discrimination is written to a frame memory 32 by a DMA and the read signal Sb is read by a CRT controller 37 and supplied to a display 42. Next, position data are read from a RAM 13 to show the relative coordinate of a first reference point and the relative coordinate of the deciding point and the position (absolute coordinate) of the deciding point is computed. Then, the black and white of the position obtained in advance, namely, object data are computed from the signal Sb of the memory 32. The calculated object data are compared with master data registered to the RAM 13 and a figure to correspond to the master data, which are the nearest to the object data, are displayed on a display screen as the recognized result.
