Abstract

PURPOSE: To synthesize a humanized voice expressing speaker's individuality and approximate to a natural voice by applying various shaping processing and randomizing processing to a synthetic voice. CONSTITUTION: A voice synthesis part 33 applies rhythmical parameter generation processing, voice parameter generating processing based upon a voice file 34 and voice synthesizing processing to a generated accent-annexed KANA (Japanese syllabary) sentence to generate a synthetic voice. A voice shaping part 31 executes shaping and expression randomizing processing such as accents, intonation and pauses based upon control information received from a main control part 30 in order to express speaker's individuality to shape the synthetic voice generated by the voice synthesis part 33. The main control part 30 sends the shaped synthetic voice to a telephone set 1 as an output through an exchange 2. Consequently a natural voice approximate to an usually hearing voice can be synthesized.
