Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce dazzled feeling and ghost of a hologram image at the time of observing said image, and to improve the transparency of the titled hologram by mounting the antireflection film on the surface of a carrier recorded the hologram thereon. CONSTITUTION:A volume phase type hologram is recorded on the recording carrier mainly composed of a vinylcarbazole type polymer (such as polyvinyl carbazole), and the antireflection film (A) is provided on the surface of the recording carrier. The layer A is composed preferably of a compd. selected from TiO2, TaO5, ZrO2, SiO2 and Yb2O3, etc., and is constituted of a monolayer or a multiple layer structure by means of a sputtering and a vapor method, etc. Thus, the dazzled feeling and the ghost of the hologram image due to the reflection and scattering of a lighting ray are reduced, and as the transparency is improved, the titled hologram having the excellent visibility is obtd.
