Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of accidents by storing battery exhaustion of a transmitting means in a receiving means, and surely informing a user of the battery exhaustion when a shutter curtain is operated to be elevated or stopped. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter 4 is provided with a battery 11, a detecting circuit 12, a microprocessor 13, and an infrared emitting section 14, and a receiver is provided with a light receiving section 5, a microprocessor 15, a remote control section 10, and a buzzer 17. When the circuit 12 detects the battery exhaustion of the battery 11, the circuit informs the processor 13 by changing its output from an H level to an L level, and allows the light emitting section 14 to flash on and off. The light receiving section 5 transmits the output of the received light to the processor 15 which stores a signal indicative of the battery shutoff. When a shutter curtain is operated to be elevated or stopped by the operating section 10, the buzzer 17 is driven based on the stored signal indicative of the battery exhaustion. Accordingly, occurrence of accidents can be prevented.
