Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve generating efficiency by controlling a pressure reducing valve to keep the exhaust pressure of a regeneretor constant, and controlling a charge air regulating valve to keep the charge air temperature of low-pressure expansion turbine within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:A regenerator 3 is disposed between a compressed air bladder 1 and a high-pressure expansion turbine 4, and a combustor 6 is disposed between the high pressure and low-pressure expansion turbines 4, 7. The exhaust pressure of the regenerator 3 is detected by a detector 10, and a pressure reducing valve 2 is controlled to keep the exhaust pressure constant. The intake air temperature of the low-pressure turbine is calculated from a value of a low-pressure turbine exhaust temperature detector 13 and an intake air adjusting valve 5 is controlled to keep the temperature within a specified range. According to output of a generator 12, a fuel adjusting valve 8 is controlled. Thus, the intake air temperature of the low-pressure turbine can be kept high so as to increase the generating efficiency.
