Abstract

PURPOSE:To form the clear cyan image of the titled material by incorporating a specified pyrazoloimidazole type cyan coupler in a red photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The pyrazoloimidazole type cyan coupler shown by formula I is incorporated in at least one layer of the red photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer. In the formula, R1 and R2 are each a group capable of binding with a hydrogen atom., Y and R<3> are each hydrogen atom. or a substituting agent, X is hydrogen atom. or a group capable of releasing by reacting with the oxidant of a color developing main agent.
