Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the detecting sensitivity for idling and running by providing a means to switch the detecting output conditions for idling and running. CONSTITUTION:A speed generator 3 is mounted to an axle required for detecting the idling and running. An output signal of the speed generator 3 is converted into the detected speed signals 23 by a waveform shaping section 11 and a pulse/speed conversion section 12. A comparison result of the detected speed signals 23 is outputted as an idling and running detection signal 26 through a non-sensitive zone element 13. On the other hand, a decision section 15 increases the width of the non-sensitive zone of the non-sensitive zone element or invalidates its output by outputting a command signal 27 in case there is even one less than the set point among the detected speed signals 23. On the contrary, when all the detected speed is in excess of the set point, the width of the non-sensitive zone is reduced or its output is effectuated.
