Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate only an objective slave equipment by comparing an equipment selection code sent from a selecting/synchronizing line with a code of its own equipment by the slave equipment so as to use a selection code sent by a host equipment. CONSTITUTION:When the host equipment 6 desires to communicate the object slave equipment, an ID code of an object slave equipment is sent to the selecting/synchronizing line 8. The object slave equipment recognizes a request to its own equipment by using a coincidence signal generated by a selection detecting circuit 74, a CPU 72 makes a receiver enable signal active (low level) and receives a serial data by its own line receiver 5. After an end code of a serial data is received, a receiver enable signal is reset (high level). The other equipments do not respond to the communication of the serial data because the ID code is not coincident and no overhead of the communication is caused.
