Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the initial settlement of pile by a method in which a precast pile having a bag is penetrated into a position where high-quality cement milk layer is to be formed in the bearing layer formed of the mixture of cement milk and the natural ground and a solidifying fluid is injected into the bag. CONSTITUTION:A concrete pile with a bag 10 is penetrated into the bearing layer formed by packing cement milk into an expanded bottom pit excavated by jet excavation. A cement milk as a solidifying fluid is injected into the bag through an injection tube 6 provided in the hollow of the pile to expand the bag 10. Since the pile can be stopped at the high-quality cement milk layer even when slime is present in the expanded bottom of the pit, the initial settlement of the pile can be almost completely prevented.
