Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the supply of liquid substances in an amount commensurate with the operating condition of the titled apparatus by blasting liquid substances toward the atomization zone of a supersonic vibrator horn with the flowing gas introduced through a flowing gas introduction means. CONSTITUTION:One axial end of a supersonic vibrator horn 1 is connected to supersonic vibration generating means 3 and 5 and the other axial end thereof and the nearby outer periphery thereof provide an atomization zone 15 to receive liquid substances supplied for atomization thereof by supersonic vibration. A liquid substance supply means 13 delivers the liquid substance to the atomization zone 15 of the horn 1. This liquid substance supply means 13 is provided with a flowing gas introduction means 11 which is capable of introducing the flowing gas at a changeable flow speed and the liquid substance is blasted toward the atomization zone 15 of the horn 1 with the flowing gases introduced through this means 11. As a result, with this simple construction, the liquid substance can be surely supplied in an amount commensurate with the operating condition of the captioned apparatus to the atomization zone of the horn 1 without causing liquid drooping.
