Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the CW interference of an interrogation pulse from an interrogator and to detect an interrogation signal buried in a CW signal by detecting the frequency components of the CW signal. CONSTITUTION:The interrogation signal from the interrogator 10 is received by the antenna 21 of a transponder device 20, passed through a duplexer 22 and a preselector 24, and mixed by a mixer preamplifier 25 with a local signal from a local signal generator 26 to become an IF signal. The output of the mixer preamplifier 25 is inputted to tuning circuits 41 and 42 and a notch filter circuit 43. Its passage output is CW-detected by a corresponding CW detecting circuit, whose detection time constant is specified, so that the corresponding CW detecting circuit generates a detection signal after specifying the detection time constant. A corresponding notch turns off in response to the detection signal, the transmission state of the passage output of a notch filter is turned off, and the CW signal is suppressed and not applied to a trailing decoding circuit 30.
