Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of parts and the number of processes by laminating a deflecting film on a front face plate and a rear face plate. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal plate is formed by providing a transparent electrode on the front face plate 1 and the rear face plate 2, and thereafter, applying an adhesive agent 3 onto the rear face plate 2, inserting a liquid crystal into a liquid crystal inserting space 4 which is formed in its inside, placing the front face plate thereon and joining it. In the forming process of the front face plate 1 and the rear face plate 2, deflecting films 7, 8 having fiber in an arbitrary prescribed direction are laminated so as to be inserted and held between transparent plates 1a, 1b and 2a, 2b, and also, a non-reflective layer 10 is formed on the front face plate 1. In this way, since the deflecting films 7, 8 are laminated on the front face plate 1 and the rear face plate 2, they have a function as a deflecting plate, and also, when the non-reflective layer 10 is formed on the front face plate 1, it has a function as a non-reflective plate, as well. In this way, a deflecting plate and a non-reflective plate can be omitted, and the number of parts and the number of processes can be decreased.

In the liquid crystal plate according to the present invention, since polarizing films are laminated on the front plate and the rear plate, these front plate and rear plate have a function as polarizing plates, and the conventional polarizing plate can be omitted. Further, if the front plate or the rear plate is subjected to anti-reflection processing, it will function as a non-reflection plate, and the conventional non-reflection plate can be saved. This reduces the number of parts and steps.
