CONSTITUTION:One drive shaft 1a of a lateral feed drive motor 1 allows a carriage 4 having a printing head 3 mounted thereon to reciprocally move in a line direction along a guide shaft 6 by the rotation of said drive shaft 1a through a timing belt 10 and a cooling fan 7 is connected to the other drive shaft 1b of the motor 1.
