Abstract

PURPOSE:To heat an object to be heated more efficiently than before by reflecting radiation heat emitted from a heating element into the opposite direction of the objects to be heated to the side of the object to be heated. CONSTITUTION:On the main body 1 of an electric heater a pot 2 as an object to be heated is placed and also a pan 3 is put. At the inner wall of the pan 3 a step 4 is formed and on the step 4 a reflecting plate 5 is put. An heating element 6 is located at the rather upper part than the opening part 3b of the pan 3 and in direct contact with the bottom of the pot 2 and supported removably by support members 7 and the pot 2 is supported by the support members. The plate 5 is made of aluminium and installed removably. The upper surface 5b is polished into a specular face and reflects the radiation heat from the element 6 installed above the plate 5 and re-radiates the heat to the side of the object to be heated.

(Prior art) Generally, in an electric heating device for cooking equipped with a heating element that generates heat when energized, a ceramic plate that is a non-conducting member is provided in the case of the electric heating device, and this ceramic plate is used as a heating element. The nichrome wire is exposed. Some electric heating devices for cooking, such as sheathed heaters, are made of nichrome wire coated with a non-conducting material to prevent electric shock. Some attempts are made to improve the thermal efficiency between the heated object and the heating element by bringing them into direct contact with each other to generate heat.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in conventional electric heating appliances for cooking, the radiant heat radiated downward from the heating element is absorbed into the electric heating appliance body through the ceramic plate. Radiant heat from the heating element is absorbed into the electric heater body through the ceramic plate, so if you inadvertently touch the electric heater body, it may cause burns. There were problems such as the risk of liability. Furthermore, since the bottom of commonly used aluminum pots has a reflectance of approximately 95%, there is a problem in that heating takes a long time if the aluminum pot must be used away from the heating element. Furthermore, when heating a pot with a round bottom using a sheathed heater or the like, the pot must be supported by a trivet and heated with radiant heat, which causes the problem that the radiant heat is not absorbed sufficiently.

is arranged, and a tray 3 is arranged as a receiver. A step 4 is formed on the inner wall surface of the tray 3, and a reflecting plate 5 is placed on the step 4. In this embodiment, the reflector plate 5 is made of aluminum and is detachable so that spills from the pan 2 can be easily cleaned. The upper surface 5b of the reflecting plate 5 is a mirror surface, and is configured to reflect radiant heat from a heating element 6 disposed above the reflecting plate 5. Below the reflector 5 is a bottom 3a that accommodates the base of the heating element 6.
It stands up from above and is located above the reflecting plate 5. That is, as shown in FIG.
A notch 5a is formed through which a portion rising from the bottom 3a of the holder is passed. A nichrome wire runs inside the heating element 6, and the outside of the nichrome wire is covered with a non-conductive member. The receiver of the heating element 6 is located slightly above the opening 3b of the dish 3, so that the bottom of the pot 2 comes into direct contact with it. The heating element 6 and the reflecting plate 5 are spaced apart from each other so that they do not come into close contact with each other, and the spacing between the heating element 6 and the reflecting plate 5 is set to prevent a decrease in reflectance due to heat generation of the reflecting plate 5. has been done.

Figure 3 is a table depicting the temperature rise characteristics when water in the pot 2 is heated using the electric cooking heater of the present invention, where the horizontal axis represents the heating time (in minutes) and the vertical axis represents the water temperature. (unit: °C). In this table, a solid line 8 indicates a temperature increase curve due to the electric cooking device of this embodiment, and a broken line 9 indicates a temperature increase curve due to the conventional electric cooking device. Note that the rated output and power supply of both electric heaters are the same. The reflecting plate 5 is made of an aluminum plate with a polished surface, and is disposed below the heating element 6 at a position 1a11.

In this table, the water temperature is set at room temperature 22 degrees Celsius, and when heating water in a normal-sized pot 2 from room temperature 22 degrees Celsius, it takes 9 minutes with a conventional electric cooking heater, but it takes 9 minutes with this example. Using an electric cooking heater, the temperature reached 100°C in approximately 7 minutes.

FIG. 4 shows a modified example of a reflector as a second embodiment of the present invention, and this reflector 10 is curved, whereas the reflector 5 of the first embodiment is flat. It has a tray-like shape with a flat bottom and a wide opening. In this embodiment, since the radiant heat radiated laterally from the heating element 6 can be reflected by the reflecting plate 10, heating can be performed more efficiently than in the electric cooking heater of the first embodiment.

(Effects of the Invention) Since the electric heating device for cooking according to the present invention is configured as explained above, the radiant heat emitted from the heating element can be reflected to the object to be heated by the reflecting plate, which is more effective than before. The effect is that the object to be heated can be heated efficiently. Moreover, unlike the case where a material with a high reflectance is used for the object to be heated, this method is particularly effective when a heating cooking utensil or the like coated with an infrared absorbing substance is used.
