Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize various functions in the forced receiving system of an urgency broadcasting by receiving a call electric wave transmitted by a broadcasting station, transmitting a power charging command, when the received call signal is a signal for its own station, issuing an alarming command. CONSTITUTION:The call electric wave is received in antennas 1, 15, inputted to a mixer 16, a frequency is transformed and transmitted to a demodulator 17. A processing part 18, a number storing part 22, an information processing control part 19 and a control driving part 25 constitutes a control means. In the processing part 18 and the number storing part 22, whether a call signal restored in the demodulator 17 is directed to an address of its own or not and if it is transmitted to the address of its own, the call signal is transferred to an information processing control part 19 of a next step. The information processing control part 19 transmits a start signal to an oscillator 23 and the control driving part 25. The oscillator 23 generates an alarming sound in a speaker 24 and the control driving part 25 transmits an on signal to a power supply part 28.

In addition, since this is an emergency broadcast, it is necessary to be able to forcibly turn on the power of the television receiver if it is not turned on, and it is also necessary to be able to notify that the emergency broadcast will begin before the broadcast starts. It is. Since there are a plurality of reception channels for television broadcasting, it is desirable to be able to notify which reception channel should be selected, and preferably to be able to automatically switch reception channels.

The individual selective paging receiver receives the paging radio waves transmitted by the broadcasting station separately from the television broadcast radio waves (operation of the receiving means), issues the power-on command when the received paging signal is addressed to the receiver, and issues an alarm. Issue a command (operation of the control means), as a result, the individual selective call receiver generates an alarm sound (operation of the sound generation means), and notify users of the television receiver that there is an emergency broadcast; At the same time, the power of the television receiver is turned on if it is in the off state. After transmitting the paging radio wave, the broadcasting station transmits the emergency broadcast content on the TV radio wave, so the user can learn the content of the emergency broadcast by tuning the channel on the television receiver.0Individual selective call Since the receiver is built-in and can be separated, it can be placed close to the user, for example by placing it next to the pillow while sleeping, ensuring that the user is not near the television receiver. It is possible to communicate that there is an emergency broadcast. Therefore, the power supply for the individual selective calling machine is of an uninterruptible type.

Furthermore, it is expected that the power of the television receiver will not be turned on due to the fact that the AC outlet is unplugged, but even in this case, the user can use the warning sound to notify the user that there is an emergency broadcast. It becomes possible to take appropriate measures.

The above is the basic operation, but the following functions can be added. First, since the calling signal can contain general information such as the date and time of occurrence and the name of the place, if the general information contained in the calling signal is sent to the video signal amplification stage of the television receiver (control means (operation), users can know the general content of emergency broadcasts without having to tune in to any particular channel.

Additionally, as is well known, some individual selective calling receivers have a display that can display a simple message.
When such an individual selective call receiver with a display is used, the general information can be displayed on the display (operation of the control means).

Furthermore, in order to eliminate the complexity of channel matching,
A television receiver allows a local oscillator to change its local oscillation frequency according to an external change command. In this way, the control means can issue the change command based on the receiving channel designation signal included in the calling signal, making it possible to automatically switch the receiving channel.

Finally, in order to enable the television receiver to be easily accepted into general households, the television receiver is further capable of turning off the power in response to a power-off command, and also has the ability to turn off the local oscillator and audio. To enable a signal amplifier to change the local oscillation frequency and volume according to an external change command. A remote controller capable of transmitting a paging radio wave separately from the broadcasting station is attached to the individual selective paging receiver, and the control means controls the power source according to instructions of a paging signal based on the paging radio wave transmitted by the remote controller. A power-on command, a power-off command, and a change command are issued respectively. In other words, the television receiver can be used as a so-called remote control television, and even if the additional functions increase the price, the television receiver can still be enjoyed with the added functions, making it possible to popularize it in general households. It becomes possible.

As described above, according to the television receiver with a built-in individual selective call receiver of the present invention, the original functions of the individual selective call receiver can be effectively utilized, so that the advance notification function in case of an emergency,
Not only the automatic forced power-on function can be realized, but also various other functions in the forced reception system for emergency broadcasts can be easily realized.

FIG. 1 shows a television receiver with a built-in individual selective call receiver according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The television radio waves received by the antenna 1 are input to the high frequency amplifier 3 via the feed line 2, and the output of the high frequency amplifier 3 and the output of the local oscillator 10 are received to form a video intermediate frequency signal of a predetermined channel. A mixer 4, a video intermediate frequency amplifier 5 receiving the output of the mixer 4, a video detector 6 receiving the output of the video intermediate frequency amplifier 5, and a synchronizing signal generator 8 receiving the output of the video detector 6 and audio. a video signal amplifier 7 that sends a predetermined signal to the intermediate frequency amplifier 11; a picture tube 9 that receives the output of the video signal amplifier 7 and the output of the synchronization signal generator 8 to draw a television image; and an audio intermediate frequency amplifier 11.
The audio detector 12 basically includes an audio detector 12 that receives the output of the audio detector 12, an audio signal amplifier 13 that receives the output of the audio detector 12, a speaker 14, and a power supply section 28. This television receiver 1lfi has the same configuration as the conventional one and is well known, so it will not be reconstructed, but in order to incorporate an individual selective call receiver, the present invention is configured as follows.

First, the power supply section 28 uses an AC power source 29 which is an external power source.
Alternatively, the DCtC power supply 30 receives the power supply and supplies operating power to each part, but in the present invention, not only can the supply of operating power be turned on and off by manual operation, but it can also be turned on and off by external commands like a so-called remote control TV. It is now possible to do so. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, this power supply section 28 is also connected to the individual selective call receiver, and receives a power-on command and a power-off command as described later.
