Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance of a printing surface and to obtain excellent optical effect, by a method wherein an image is preliminarily printed on the surface of a soft plastic sheet and the printed part or the whole part of the sheet is covered with unvulcanized transparent compounded crepe rubber to be heated in a mold under pressure. CONSTITUTION:The internal structure of a soft plastic sheet is not especially limited and, for example, unvulcanized transparent compounded crepe rubber consists of 100pts.wt. of 1,2-polybutadiene, 2pts.wt. of dicumyl peroxide, 1pt.wt. of stearic acid and 1pt.wt. of pigment. For example, the surface of the soft plastic sheet having a character printed thereon by silk screen printing is coated with the above-mentioned rubber crepe in a thickness of 0.5-1.0mm and introduced into a mold to be pressed and, thereafter, the unvulcanized crepe rubber is vulcanized, for example, for 6min under steam pressure of 5kg/cm<2> (150-160 deg.C) and press pressure of 50-100kg/cm<2> and, at the same time, fused to the surface of the aforementioned sheet. By this method, the printed character is perfectly fixed to the sheet, and the abrasion resistance and optical effect of the sheet can be enhanced.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a method of decorative printing on soft plastic sheets. According to the present invention, it is possible to perform decorative printing on a soft plastic sheet easily and at low cost, and furthermore, the characters etc. printed decoratively by the method of the present invention are completely fixed on the surface of the soft plastic sheet and are noticeable. It has an optical effect. Therefore, the present invention is useful not only in the printing industry but also in various industrial fields that use decoratively printed soft plastic sheets as materials, such as the shoe industry, the shoe industry, and the clothing industry.

[Prior Art] Referring to the prior art in a specific industrial field, in the shoe manufacturing industry, plastic shoe sole materials are printed with trademarks, trade names, or patterns for aesthetic appeal. Conventionally, printing on shoe sole materials has been carried out by placing the shoe sole material into a shoe sole mold engraved with characters to be printed and pressing the material. In the case of such conventional technology, a mold is required depending on the type of characters, etc. to be printed. This becomes an extremely large economic burden when the types of characters, etc. to be printed are wide and diverse. Furthermore, when printing using such conventional techniques, there is a drawback that printed characters and the like are exposed and are therefore worn away and erased in an extremely short period of time.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The problems to be solved by the present invention are to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art and to provide a method for easily decorative printing of characters, etc. on a soft plastic sheet. The object of the present invention is to discover a new method that completely fuses and fixes characters, etc. to the surface of a soft plastic sheet, thereby providing a printed surface with good abrasion resistance and excellent optical effects.

[Means for solving the problem] The above-mentioned problem is solved by printing characters, etc. on the surface of a soft plastic sheet in advance by an appropriate method, and then printing the printed portion or the entire sheet into an unvulcanized transparent rubber crepe. This problem can be solved by covering the unvulcanized rubber crepe in a mold, placing it in a mold, and subjecting it to pressure and heat treatment to vulcanize the unvulcanized rubber crepe and at the same time fuse it to the surface of the sheet.

The soft plastic sheet decoratively printed by the method of the present invention is often used as a material for various products such as shoe sole materials and sheath materials, rather than being used as a product as it is. Therefore, depending on the various physical properties required for the material of the final product, soft plastic sheets are made of thermoplastic resins such as vinyl chloride resin, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, vinyl acetate resin, polyisobutylene, polybutadiene, and natural rubber. and various synthetic rubbers such as styrene rubber, or a suitable combination thereof.

After printing characters, etc. on a soft plastic sheet made of polybutadiene, natural rubber, and styrene rubber by an appropriate method, the sheet is covered with an unvulcanized transparent rubber crepe having a thickness of 0.5 to 0 mm, and then molded. After pressurizing, the unvulcanized rubber crepe was vulcanized at a press pressure of 50 to 100 kg/cJ for 6 minutes at a steam pressure of 5 kg/cJ (150 to 160°C), and at the same time, the sheet surface was vulcanized. It consists of fusing the sheet, the printed characters, etc. and the vulcanized rubber crepe into one whole.
