Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically retry and to exactly multi-address desired destinatin equipment by providing a destination information editing means to store the destination information until the result of the multiple address is returned to the titled equipment which is provided with a storage part to store the destination information and an image information. CONSTITUTION:If the destination information is inputted by operating the operation panel 5 of a FAX 10 on the transmission side, a main control part 1 stores this information in the destination table in its storage part 2, and after the following operation through the panel, drives a reading part 6 to read out an image information and stores it in another area of the storage part 2. The main controller 1 calls a repeater station 20, reads out the detination and image information from the storage part 2, and request for a relay via a communication control part 3, and thereafter holds the destination information and the image information in the storage part 2. After compeleting the relay multi-address action against designated FAXes 301-30n, the main control part 1 receives the relay-result report from the repeater station 20, then outputs to a recording part 4, as wel1 as actuates the destination information editing-means 7. Thereafter the main control part 1 erases such destinations that the relay multi-address action is completed among all the destinations A-N in the storage part 2. In case there are any remaining, calls the repeater station 20 again, reads out the destination and image information, and repeats the relay request action.

報先情報)、及び画情報(原稿)を送付して回報を依頼
し、依頼を受けた中継局は以後の回報動作を代行し、同
報動作終了後、発信側FAXに結果報告を行う。
