The conventional frame structure described above has poor earthquake resistance because its strength depends on the pair of pillars on the back, and has a large number of parts as a whole. Furthermore, since the support plate and the printed board are horizontal surfaces, the upward heat dissipation effect is not good, and the effect is further reduced by arranging them side by side.
Wiring for forming circuits between printed boards, especially connecting wiring to a common printed board, is done on the back panel, so the wiring between connectors becomes congested, making it difficult to manufacture,
Makes expansion, maintenance, etc. difficult. The high wiring density of the back panel requires the back panel to be multi-layered, which has the disadvantage of increasing costs.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention comprises an upright frame to which shelfs having a box-shaped housing structure are attached in vertical columns to the front surface of the frame columns, and printed board units inserted into the shelves. The printed board unit is attached to a steel plate panel that is removably inserted in parallel in multiple rows of guide grooves provided on two opposing upper and lower sides of the shelf, and is fixed to the back side in parallel with the steel plate panel, and is fixed to the back side in parallel with the steel plate panel. A common circuit printed board equipped with a connecting connector and a guide rail are provided on the front side to allow multiple printed boards to be inserted and removed from the front side in parallel with the steel plate panel, and the above steel plate panel is inserted into the shelf. By inserting a plurality of printed boards into the guide rail from the front, the connectors of the printed boards can be plug-in connected to the connectors of the common circuit printed board, respectively.

The printed board unit 11 has a pair of guide grooves 12a.
The substrate is a rectangular steel plate panel 13 with dimensions that can be inserted and removed from the panel, and on the back side of the panel, a rectangular common circuit printed board (indicated by diagonal lines) 17 that is vertically long and parallel to the steel plate panel 13 is installed at a predetermined interval. It is fixed at 13. A connector 17 for plug-in connection with the rack 12 is provided at the rear end of the common circuit printed board 17.

With the above configuration, by inserting the printed board unit 11 along the guide groove 12a through the front opening of the shelf attached to the rack 12, the connector inside the rack 12 (not shown) and the printed board unit 11 can be inserted.
A plug-in connection is made between the connector 17a and the connector 17a. In this state, the printed board unit 11 is in a shape that corresponds to the opening surface of the shelf and supports insertion of the printed board 16.

By inserting the printed board 16 into the groove of the guide rail 14, the connector at the tip is plug-in connected to the common circuit printed board 17b. In this way, the three printed boards 16 can be independently attached to and removed from the printed board unit 11, and are in parallel with the steel plate panel 13. Then, a surface plate is attached to the surface of each shelf unit using screws or the like, covering the surface of each shelf unit.

In addition, the shelves with a box-shaped housing structure arranged in vertical rows on the front surface of the rack 12 have a vertically long box-shaped housing structure that is sufficiently longer than conventional ones, and are attached to the rack 12. Reinforce the frame 12 from above. In this case, the shelves are also connected and fixed to each other by means not shown, such as connecting plates and screws. When the racks 12 are arranged side by side, the reinforcing effect can be further increased by connecting the racks and adjacent shelves in the same manner.

The unit shelf is also defined by the guide groove 12a by inserting a plurality of steel plate panels 13 and partitions the inside, resulting in a reinforced structure, and the steel plate panels 13 are fixed above and below the shelf to prevent it from coming off. This reinforcing effect becomes even greater.

Since it is possible to accommodate several units of the conventional unit as one printed board unit in one shelf with the same rack width as the conventional one, it is possible to accommodate, for example, the number 3 in Fig. 1 compared to the conventional configuration. The number of other parts can be greatly reduced as the support plate shown is no longer necessary and the number of unit casings and surface plates are reduced to one instead of a plurality. Therefore, the conventional space can be used effectively, and higher density packaging and a larger number of printed boards and printed board units can be mounted.

The printed board unit uses a steel plate panel as the substrate to increase the overall mechanical strength, and provides extremely good electromagnetic shielding by providing a common circuit printed board and a printed board for each line on parallel surfaces. This eliminates mutual electromagnetic interference between adjacent printed board units because the space between them is electromagnetically shielded by the steel plate panel.

The steel plate panel 13 and the common circuit printed board 17 are fixed with a gap between them, resulting in a multi-layer panel structure, which complements each other's strength and has high rigidity, improving the bending strength of the steel plate panel and improving electrical and mechanical strength. Overall high reliability can be obtained.

The printed circuit board 16 forming the line unit can be inserted and removed directly from the opening surface of the shelf, making expansion easy.
It is easy to attach and detach for maintenance inspections, etc., and can also be compatible.

Regarding heat dissipation, since the printed board units 11 are arranged in parallel within the shelf with their faces vertical, air for cooling can smoothly convect. In particular, the back panel does not cover the entire back surface of the shelf, but has a sufficiently open back surface. Because of this, an exhaust path is secured to the rear part of the rack. By providing ventilation holes on the upper and lower surfaces of the shelf and openings in the front plate (none of which are shown), ventilation becomes smooth, and together with the chimney effect, a significant improvement over the conventional structure is achieved.

As explained above, the present invention has a structure in which a shelf is attached to the front surface of an upright frame column, and a printed board unit is inserted into the shelf, and the printed board unit is made of steel plate. By fixing a common circuit printed board to the panel and removably accommodating multiple printed boards constituting a unit circuit to form a circuit configuration, we are able to reduce the number of parts and machine The practical effects are significant, with improvements in physical strength, electrical shielding, cooling performance, expansion, and ease of maintenance and inspection.
