Here, when recording an image on a recording material, an image recording device, for example, an image output laser printer device is used. This device stores photographic film, which is a recording material, through a magazine, etc., takes out the film one by one using a sheet-fed mechanism such as a suction cup, and then converts it into an electrical signal obtained from a stimulable phosphor sheet. The device is configured to irradiate the film with a laser beam based on the image and record a predetermined image. Therefore, the film on which the new image has been recorded is conveyed into an automatic developing device, undergoes a developing process, and is then stored at a predetermined location, where it is used for medical diagnosis, etc., as necessary.

In this case, in the image output laser printer device, similarly to the conventional radiation image capturing device described above, when loading the photographic film into the device, the film must be handled so as not to be irradiated with external light. This is because it will be exposed to light. Therefore, film loading work is generally performed in a darkroom, but the efficiency of the loading work naturally deteriorates. Therefore, in order to improve the workability, it has become strongly desirable to load the film in a normal bright room, and the technical idea to make this possible is, for example,
No. 6-7931.

Since this dedicated magazine is repeatedly loaded into the image recording apparatus, it needs to be manufactured strongly so that it can withstand long-term use, and as a result, the dedicated magazine itself has a considerable weight. Therefore, a drawback arises in that it is troublesome for the operator to attach and detach the dedicated magazine. Moreover, since the dedicated magazine is provided with a shutter mechanism and the like, it is inevitably quite expensive. In particular, when using various films of different sizes, it is necessary to prepare a dedicated magazine for each size of film, which significantly increases manufacturing costs and is inconvenient in that it is not economically acceptable in practice. is pointed out.

In this case, in this embodiment, in order to form the sawtooth-shaped step portion 48 on the inner surface of the surface portion 46 of the tray stand 32, the single wafer mechanism 80
Therefore, two sheets of film F are placed on the tray stand 3 at a time.
It cannot be removed from 2. That is, when the take-out operation is performed, the lower end of the sheet film F comes into contact with the stepped portion 48, that is, the protrusion, and vibrates. Therefore, even if a plurality of sheets of film F are taken out at the same time due to static electricity or the like, the sheet film F that is not directly attracted to the sheet feeding mechanism 80 is attracted, detached from the sheet film F that is in the process of being conveyed, and is placed inside the tray stand 32. It will be stored. Moreover, since the upper part 38 of the tray stand 32 is provided with a locking part 44 that protrudes into the film take-out opening 40, the sheet film F stored in the tray stand 32 can be attached to the tray stand 32.
It won't fall off.

In this case, in this embodiment, the package 30 is directly loaded into the apparatus main body 54 with the film removal opening 40 of the tray stand 32 closed with the cover member 34, and the lid 58 is
After closing the package loading port 64 through the opening 64, the end portion of the cover member 34 exposed to the outside is pulled to open the film removal opening 40 inside the apparatus main body 54. That is, since the packaging body 30 has the same effect as a magazine, the dedicated magazine used in the past becomes unnecessary, and the loading operation of the sheet film F becomes even simpler. Furthermore, the film removal opening 40 can be opened with the package 30 loaded in the apparatus main body 54 and the inside of the apparatus main body 54 suitably shielded from light by the roller 66 and the lid 58. The effect that loading work can be easily accomplished in a bright room is obtained.

As described above, according to the present invention, a flexible cover member is fixed to a tray stand for stacking and storing a plurality of sheet films by closing the film ejection opening, and this cover member is attached to the tip side of the tray stand. The length of the cover member is selected so that the cover member can be bent at the rear end side of the tray stand and further exposed to the outside of the apparatus. Therefore, with the tray stand loaded into the apparatus and the end of the cover member exposed to the outside, the inside of the apparatus is shielded from light, and the end of the cover member is pulled to open the film ejection opening in a light-tight manner. It can be opened in the device in the state. That is, this makes it possible to easily load the sheet film in a bright room, and also eliminates the need for a conventionally used magazine, thereby further simplifying the sheet film loading operation. Moreover, since the structure of the package is simple, there is an advantage that it can be manufactured at low cost.
