裏面に補強布6を全面的に添着した基本構成にお
いては従来のこの種座席用クツシヨン体と略同様
のものであるが、支持枠側面から支持枠背面にわ
たる部分を覆う両袖部3,3の外表面中間位置す
なわち支持枠側面と支持枠背面との境界部に相当
する部分の外表面に該両袖部3,3の幅方向にお
いて断面山形の折曲用隆起帯部4,4が設けられ
ている。また、第4図から第6図に示す実施例に
おいて、クツシヨン体1は座面部2の両側縁から
背方に向け屈曲形成された外表面が平面状の両袖
部3,3の内面に該両袖部3,3の外表面に突出
して設けた前記折曲用隆起帯部4,4と対応する
折曲補助用切込5が設けられたものとして両袖部
3,3をその中間位置から内側に向け折曲して支
持枠に添わせる作業を容易に行えるようにしてい
る。そして、この折曲補助用切込5としては、第
4図に示す第2の実施例では、両袖部3,3の内
面から折曲用隆起帯部4,4の頂部に向け補強布
6から両袖部3,3の肉厚の中間に達するスリツ
トを形成しているが、第5図に示す第3の実施例
では、各袖部3の裏面にある補強布6のみにスリ
ツトを形成しており、他方、第6図に示す第4の
実施例では、各袖部3の内面の前記折曲用隆起帯
部4に対応する部分を断面V字形或いはU字形の
溝部に形成して折曲補助用切込5としている。ま

板状部材1′の端縁1″により両袖部3,3を折曲
し易くするとともに板状部材1′がクツシヨン体
1の内面を保護するようにしてあり、この実施例
ではクツシヨン体1をポリウレタンフオームをも
つて成形する際に予め型内にスラブウレタンを用
意して成形一体化することにより板状部材1′と
している。さらに、第8図、第9図に示す第7、
第8の実施例は、折曲用隆起帯部4,4を先方が
段部に形成された両袖部3,3の段角を設けたも
ので、段部は第7の実施例に示すように両袖部

り心地と安全性を確保できるものであるが、両袖
部3,3の外表面中間位置にその幅方向において
断面山形の折曲用隆起帯部4,4が設けられてい
るから、両袖部3,3を支持枠側面から支持枠背
面にわたる部分に添わせる作業を行う際におい
て、支持枠側面と支持枠背面との境界部における
折曲作業は適確容易となり、しかも、折曲後にお
いては両袖部3,3の折曲部分の内面側が圧潰さ
れて外面側が延伸されても、折曲用隆起帯部4,
4が断面山形であるために該折曲用隆起帯部4,
4の頂部が鋭角状のコーナ部分を形成することと
