Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide possibility of unpacking in light-tight condition by furnishing a cutting means at one end of a magazine for accommodation of a package of sheet film, and by arranging so that the end of package is cut when it is accommodated. CONSTITUTION:One of the sides 20a of a light shield bag 20 for a film package 12 is placed on supporting plates 26a, 26b of a receipt table 24 of accommodating part 14, while the other side 20b of said bag 20 is inserted between rollers 32a, 32b to protrude outside the accommodating part 14 from the side face 18c. Thus the package 12 is accommodated in the accommodating part 14. Then a lid 16 is placed. Thereby the sides 20a, 20b of the light shield bag are pinched by the side faces 34a and 18a, and 34c and 18c, respectively, to accomplish light-tight accommodation. Then the edge 42 of a cutter 17 is rotated to cut the side 20a. The magazine 10 is loaded in an image recording device, not illustrated, and the side 20b is drawn to take out the film into magazine 10. Thus light-tight unpacking is accomplished.

2. Description of the Related Art A method of recording an object such as a human body on a film using X-rays is widely used for medical diagnosis and the like. In this case, an X-ray film is loaded into the X-ray imaging device in a light-shielded state, and the emulsion surface of the film is directly irradiated with X-rays to record an image of the subject.

Incidentally, recently, a radiographic image recording and reproducing system for obtaining a radiographic image of a subject using a storage phosphor (stimulable phosphor) has been developed, and is rapidly becoming popular, especially in the medical field as mentioned above. . Here, the storage phosphor refers to radiation (X
rays, alpha rays, beta rays, T rays, electron beams, ultraviolet rays, etc.), a part of this radiation energy is accumulated, and later by irradiation with excitation light such as visible light, the accumulated energy is A phosphor that exhibits stimulated luminescence.

Here, in order to record an image on a recording material, an image recording device, for example, an image output laser printer device is employed. This device stores photosensitive film, which is a recording material, through a magazine, etc., takes out the film one by one using a sheet-fed mechanism such as a suction cup, and then converts it into an electrical signal obtained from a stimulable phosphor sheet. Based on this, the film is irradiated with laser light to record a predetermined image. Next, this film on which the image has been recorded is conveyed into an automatic developing device, passes through a developing process, and is then accumulated at a predetermined location.

Incidentally, in the image output laser printer device, like the conventional X-ray imaging device described above, the film must not be irradiated with external light when the film is loaded into the device, but it is possible to improve the operability. Therefore, it is strongly desired to load the film in a bright room, and various techniques have been proposed to make this possible. As an example, a package in which a sheet film is enclosed in a light-shielding bag is stored in a magazine, both ends of the light-shielding bag are exposed from the magazine, and either end is cut off with a cutter or the like. be. In this case, the light-shielding bag is removed from the other end of the magazine, and the film remains in the film magazine.

However, when the light-shielding bag is removed from the magazine, light may enter through the opening of the light-shielding bag or the gap in the magazine.
There is a large area of the film that is exposed to external light, so considerable care must be taken in blocking light. Therefore, it may be possible to provide a cutting section for cutting off and opening one end of the light-shielding bag on the device side and a drive mechanism for this cutting section, and configuring the light-shielding bag to be opened within the light-tight device. In this case, the disadvantage is that the mechanism is extremely complex and large-scale.

In addition, as another example, a light-shielding bag has been devised in which one end is opened in advance and simply folded, but in this case, the light-shielding bag is accidentally opened before the package is stored in the magazine. There is a growing fear that it will not be able to be put to practical use.

As described above, according to the present invention, a cutting means for cutting one end of the package is disposed in a film magazine that stores a film package in which a sheet film is enclosed in a light-shielding bag, and the film package is cut in a bright room. When stored in a film magazine, the film package can be opened in a light-tight state by cutting one end of the light-shielding bag by the cutting means. Furthermore, when the film package is opened, the opening of the light-shielding bag is in a state where the light-shielding means of the cut portion completely blocks the intrusion of external light, so that extremely high light-shielding properties are maintained. Furthermore, since this film magazine has a very simple structure, it has the advantage that it can be provided at low cost.
