があった。However, this method does not take into account the differences in level and contrast between each image, so when observing a series of subtraction images, the displayed images are enhanced by image processing, so there is a slight difference in the contrast between the images. The brightness of one image changes greatly due to the fluctuation. For this reason, it is difficult to accurately compare and observe the plurality of images displayed, and there is a problem that this may lead to misdiagnosis.

である。As shown in FIG. 1, the image processing section of the digital radiography apparatus of this embodiment converts a video signal from an X-ray television camera 1 into a digital signal using an analog-to-digital converter 2, and converts the signal into a digital signal using logarithmic conversion. The data is compressed by the unit 3 and subjected to image processing such as digital subtraction by the arithmetic unit 4, and then stored in the frame memories 5A to 5N. In the case of normal display, the image data stored in the frame memories 5A to 5N is read out via the terminal of the switching device 16, inputted to the image enhancement circuit 6 such as a window circuit, enhanced for one image, and then digitalized. - It is converted into an analog signal by the analog converter 7 and sent to the display device 11. In FIG. 1, 8 is a controller, 9 is a contrast agent injector, and 10 is an X-ray control device.

The maximum frequency pixel value of these histograms is determined by the maximum frequency detector 13 (for example, using a comparator), and the subtractor 14 subtracts the maximum frequency pixel value from the image data in the frame memories 5A to 5N. By doing so, image data with the same display base luminance is obtained.
