試験を行・うものである。ここに対象とする試験として
は、印字濃度試験、文字形状・面積試験、濃度傾斜試験
、線分の並び大きさ試験等がある。なお、文字重心とは
、ある文字を表す有効画素数をカウントして全面積Sl
を求め、さらにX軸及びY軸毎に走査して各軸毎の面積
が各々1/2になる線を求めた際の各線の交点をいう。
