However, because it is difficult to distinguish between particulate matter that has absorbed water and particulate matter that has not absorbed water, removal of the particulate matter that has absorbed water cannot be done smoothly, and unabsorbed particulate matter may also be removed, or the shape of the particulate matter may be damaged. There were times when I was Also, although it can be identified by the discoloration of granules that have absorbed water, it is approximately 0.2 to 20 m in diameter.
It is extremely troublesome to remove water-absorbed granules from the culm one by one.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of conventional pet excrement treatment materials, the present invention solves the above-mentioned problems without sacrificing any of the advantages of conventional treatment materials. It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel material for treating excrement from pets, etc., which eliminates these drawbacks.

[Means for Solving the Problems] As a result of extensive research, the present inventors have found that the desired results can be achieved by coating the surface of granular water-absorbing material with fine bentonite powder that has agglomerating and swelling properties. They found that this effect can be obtained and completed the present invention.

(preferably about 2 to 57 FL/'rrL in diameter)
The surface of the granules having coagulation and swelling properties is 15
It consists of a material for treating excrement from pets, etc. coated with fine bentonite powder of finer than 0 mesh, preferably 200 mesh or less, to a film thickness of about 10 to 500 microns, preferably about 50 to 150 microns.

In the treated material according to the present invention, only the areas where water has been absorbed form a lump-like solid mass, and the more favorable the conditions are, the firmer the solid mass becomes. You only need to replenish it.

Furthermore, if the core material of the treated material of the present invention is water-soluble or water-dispersible, such as in valves, the bentonite coating applied according to the present invention can be flushed into household flush toilets without causing any problems. It can do the same things as conventional products.

The diameter of the granules in the core material is approximately 1 to 7 m/m, preferably approximately 2 to 5 m/TrL, and small granules of 1 m/m may adhere to the pet's paws and contaminate the surrounding area. On the other hand, particles larger than 7rrt/m have the disadvantage of poor agglomeration properties.

Bentonite powder is finer than 150 mesh.
Preferably, the fineness is 200 mesh or less,
This allows the particles of the core material to be uniformly fixed in powder. 15
If the mesh is larger than 0, the coating tends to peel off, making it impossible to obtain uniform coverage of the core material.

selected within the μ range. If the film thickness is less than 10μ, the adhesion of bentonite to each other will be insufficient and it will be difficult to form solid lumps;
A film thickness thicker than 0μ has the disadvantage of being easy to peel off.

The material for treating excrement from pets, etc. of the present invention is made by uniformly spraying moisture onto the granular material of the core material to sufficiently moisten the surface, and then immediately sprinkling bentonite powder, which should be powdered. After mixing, dry immediately in a dryer. for example,
5m/TrL<diameter) valve granules 100tK ff
A film thickness of about 80 μm can be obtained by applying 25 parts of Ben 1 Henite powder to i part. Nauta Mikiri and Ribbon Mikiri hats are used for adding moisture and dressing. If necessary, use Rotary Dry V- for drying.
Dry at about 110 to 130°C. It is also possible to use a flow coater (manufactured by Okawara Seisakusho) that can perform moisture application, powder coating, and drying at the same time.
