[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a vehicle lamp that uses a light emitting element such as a light emitting diode (hereinafter abbreviated as LBD) as a light source, and particularly has an excellent diffusion effect and can provide uniform illumination. This is how it was done.

In recent years, with the development of semiconductor technology, the development of high-brightness LEDs has slowed, and they have become available at low prices.
Consideration is now being given to using it instead of a light bulb as a light source for vehicle width lights, especially brake lights and tail lights.
As an example, the one shown in FIG. 4 is known. That is,
This vehicle lamp includes a printed circuit board 2 on the surface of which a large number of LEDs 1 are arranged at predetermined intervals, and a large number of lens cuts 3 arranged on the surface of the printed circuit board 2 and on the inner surface of the IJD 1. It is constructed with a correspondingly formed lens 4. The lens cut 3 refracts and reflects the light 7 of the LED 1 that has entered the cut 3 forward, and has a projection extending from a substantially paraboloid of revolution to a concave portion 5 at the light end for housing the LED 1. The peripheral wall 5a and bottom surface 5b of the recessed portion 5 constitute an incident surface of the light 7. The lens cut 3 is closely opposed to the printed circuit board 2,
By making most of the light 7 emitted from the IJD 1 enter the cut 3, light loss is reduced. Note that 8 is a conductive pattern and 9 is a wire bonding.

In the present invention, since the convex curved surface part and the refraction/reflection part are provided on the surface layer of the inner lens, it is possible to efficiently condense the υ light through these parts and guide it forward. Additionally, the outer lens is a diffusion lens that effectively diffuses light, making uniform illumination possible.

The inner lens 14 is disposed between the outer lens 11 and the substrate 15, and a number of refractive/reflective parts 17 are formed protruding from the back surface of the inner lens 14, corresponding to each of the LEDs 1, respectively. This refractive/reflective portion 17 is formed in a shape exactly the same as the conventional lens cut 3 shown in FIG. 4, so a description thereof will be omitted. On the other hand, a plurality of convex curved portions (convex lenses) 18 are provided on the surface of the inner lens 140 for each of the LEDs 1. In other words, they are formed in a protruding manner corresponding to each refractive/reflective portion 17, respectively.

Further, in this embodiment, the diameter D1 of the convex curved surface portion 18 and the opening diameter Ds of the recessed portion 5 formed at the tip of the refractive/reflective portion 17 are set approximately equal, and the diameter D8 of the bottom surface 5b of the recessed portion 5 is Said D1. I set it to a small value, but
However, the present invention is not limited to this, and as shown in FIG. In the example, the bottom surface 5bt of the concave portion 5 is formed in a convex shape, but it may be a flat surface.

Then, it passes through the inner lens 14, and the outer lens 1
1, it is diffused by the diffusing lens 1B. On the other hand, the light that has entered the refractive/reflective portion 17 from the bottom surface 5b is refracted forward by the bottom surface 5b, is condensed by passing through the convex curved surface portion 18, and when passing through the outer lens 14,
The light is diffused by the diffusion lens 16. Therefore, the entire surface of the outer lens 11 can be illuminated more brightly and uniformly, and the illumination effect can be improved.

That is, in this embodiment, since the light that is once refracted and reflected forward by the refractive/reflective portion 17 and the convex curved surface portion 1B and then condensed is diffused in all directions by the diffusing lens 16, the portion corresponding to LIdD 1 The light does not brighten locally, but illuminates the entire surface with almost uniform brightness.

Further, by providing the convex curved surface portion 18, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of sink marks during lens molding, thereby increasing the degree of freedom in the shape, size, etc. of the refractive/reflective portion 17. Therefore, it is possible to form the refractive/reflective portion 17 with a large light condensing degree, increasing the amount of light directed forward and improving the illumination effect.

As explained above, the vehicle lamp according to the present invention refracts and reflects the light emitted from the light emitting element forward by the refractive reflection part and the convex curved part provided in the inner lens, and diffuses it by the diffusion lens of the outer lens. I configured it so that
Almost the entire surface of the outer lens can be illuminated with uniform brightness, and the illumination effect can be improved. Furthermore, the convex curved surface portion allows the condensing power of the thinner lens to be set to be large, so that light can be condensed efficiently and light loss can be reduced.
