Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease both the number of times of communication of an input-side terminal for originals and the number of times of communication at the time of distribution after storage by providing a holding means which holds transmission address data and data for readout time in correspondence relation and retrieving the data for readout time allowed to correspond to the same transmission address data on the basis of the transmission address data held in the holding means. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 10 monitors whether or not a PB-MF signal arrives within a prescribed time by using its internal timer and receives transmission address data of each image signal of each original from a PB-MF signal detection part 102 when the PB-MF signal arrives. The CPU 104 determines ID data (data for readout time) so that an area of a storage part 107 for storing image signals of respective originals can be found, and generates a contrast memory table 106A containing the ID data and transmission address data. When there is transmission address data in the contrast memory table 106A, the ID data of the same transmission address data are collected. Then, a changeover switch 101 is placed on the side of a communication control part 103 and a call is made based on said same transmission address data. The PB-MF signal detection part 102 converts the data into data indicating a corresponding number, the start, pause, and end and supplies the converted data to the CPU 104.

[Technical Background of the Invention] Facsimile storage and forwarding devices having a broadcast function have been known in the past. According to this facsimile storage and forwarding device,
Image signals of the same original document are sequentially distributed to a plurality of different destinations.

Communication is performed 3 times to destinations c and d, and then communication is performed 6 times to destinations a to f in order to send the image signal of document 2, and so on. No image signals were transmitted. For this reason, the facsimile storage and forwarding device described above has to make calls to the same destination many times, resulting in many unnecessary operations, which is not preferable from the point of view of line utilization.

To deal with this, it is conceivable to select and input documents for each destination at a terminal on the input side for documents 1 to 4. In this way, the number of calls made by the facsimile storage and forwarding device having the broadcast function can be reduced, but the input terminal needs to perform six communications, which increases the number of communications.

[Summary of the Invention] Accordingly, the present invention includes: a storage unit; a storage control unit that creates readout data for each received image signal corresponding to one page of a document and stores the received image signal in the storage unit; a holding means for detecting transmission destination data of a received image signal corresponding to a one-page original sent from a partner terminal, and holding the transmission destination data and reading data in correspondence with each other; Based on the communication destination data, the readout data associated with the same transmission destination data is searched, and the image signal corresponding to the searched readout data is sent in one communication to the destination indicated by the same transmission destination data. The facsimile storage and forwarding device is configured by including a transmitting means for transmitting data, and the above object is achieved.

The CPtJ 104 uses a built-in timer to monitor the arrival of the Pa-MF multiplied signal within a predetermined time (301.302). If the Pa-MF multiplied signal does not arrive within a predetermined period of time, the previous reception process will be performed. When the Pa-MF multiplied signal arrives, the transmission destination data for each image signal of each document is received from the Pa-MF signal detection unit 102 (303). Here, the button operations on the telephone 601 start with the operation of the "#" key, the "Synopsis" key, etc.
The end is indicated, then the number of the original is indicated by operating the numeric keys, the r%J key is operated as a separator, and the transmission destination data is entered by operating the numeric keys of the full dial number (also by facsimile). When the abbreviated dial data can be registered in the storage/exchange device 100, the numeric key operation for the abbreviated dial data is performed, and the same operation is continued using the "J" key as a break.
