Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operability, and also to eliminate useless power consumption by constituting a titled camera so that a receiving circuit of a camera side turns on as soon as a transmitter is removed from the camera, and also turns off when the transmitter is installed. CONSTITUTION:In case of a usual photographing state that remote control is not operated, a camera 1 is used by installing a transmitter 2, but in this case, a plug 6a and 7a are inserted into a socket 6 and 7, respectively, and made to conduct, respectively. Also, since a switch button 8 becomes a depressed state, a normally closing switch 9a is turned off and also a projection 8 is inserted into an inserting hole provided on the lower face of the transmitter 2, by which a normally closing switch 8a is also turned off. Subsequently, in case the transmitter 2 is removed from the camera 1 in order to execute a remote control operation, the conduction of the plugs 6a, 7a and the sockets 6, 7 is cut off, and also the normally closing switch 9a and 8a are both turned on, and a receiving circuit 10 becomes an on-state.

Various types of cameras have been proposed in the past with built-in remote control devices, and among them, a transmitter for remote control operation is built into the grip of the camera in a removable manner, and is usually used while attached to the camera. When operating remote controllers, there are devices that can be removed from the camera and used as a transmitter for remote control operation (for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 55-1
24128) However, when operating a remote control with such a camera, it is necessary to keep the receiver circuit of the camera always operating, or to set up a main switch on the camera side and turn on the main switch to turn on the receiver circuit. It is necessary to keep it in working condition. For this reason, even in normal conditions when the transmitter is attached to the camera and the remote control is not operated, current will continue to flow through the receiver circuit on the camera side, causing a trap and wasting power, and if a main switch is installed. had the disadvantage that it was easy to forget how to use it.

The present invention was developed in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the above-mentioned conventional example, and when a transmitter is attached to a camera, the receiving circuit on the camera side and the transmitting circuit on the transmitter side are inactivated, and the transmitter is removed from the camera. It is an object of the present invention to provide a camera with a remote control device, which enables the receiving circuit and the transmitting circuit to be activated in case of failure.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the gist of the present invention is to provide a remote control device in which a transmitter having a transmission circuit for remote control operation is removably attached to a camera having a reception circuit for remote control operation. In the camera, when the transmitter is attached to the camera, both the receiving circuit and the transmitting circuit are turned off, and when the transmitter is removed from the camera, the receiving circuit and the transmitting circuit are turned off. A camera with a remote control device is characterized in that the transmitter circuit is configured so that both transmitting circuits are turned on.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Figures 1 and 2 are perspective views showing an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 1 shows the transmitter attached to the camera in a state of mind, and Figure 2 shows the transmitter removed from the camera. @ In the figure, 1 is a camera and 2 is a transmitter for remote control operation. Is transmitter 2 a release on the top? It has a light projecting element 5 on the tongue 3 and rear surface. The camera 1 has a light-receiving element 4, and a circuit is configured to release the camera l and f when it receives modulated light from the light-emitting element 5.

Next, the 31st entry is a circuit principle diagram of the camera 1 and the transmitter 20 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. 1 surrounded by a broken line indicates the camera side, and 2 indicates the transmitter side. Components that are the same as those in FIGS. 1 and 2 are designated by the same reference numerals, and therefore their explanation will be omitted. 12 is a power source for the camera side 1, and 13 is a power source for the transmitter side 2. 10 is the receiving circuit, 11 is the transmitting circuit,
14 is a camera sequence circuit. 9& and 8& are normally closed switches.

The operation of the camera l and the transmitter 2 released as described above will be explained. First, in a normal photographing state without remote control operation, the transmitter 2 is attached to the camera 1 and used. At this time, the plugs 6a and 7& are inserted into the sockets 6 and 7, respectively, to establish continuity. Further, since the switch tongue 9 is pressed and enters the 9th state, the normally closed switch 9a is turned off and the protrusion 8 is inserted into the insertion hole (not shown) provided on the lower surface of the transmitter 2. The normally closed switch 8a is also turned off. As a result, the receiving circuit 10 is turned off, and when the release button 3t is turned on, the camera sequence circuit 14 is turned on and a release is performed. Since the normally open switch 8 & is off, the light emitting element 5 does not emit light at this time.

Next, if you want to remove transmitter 2 from camera 1 in order to perform all remote control operations, plug 6m + 7m and socket 6.
.. 7 is interrupted and the normally closed switches 9a and 8a are both turned on, leaving the receiving circuit 10 in an on state. Then, when the light-emitting device 3 is operated and turned on, the light emitting element 5 is activated and emits light, and when this is detected by the light receiving element 4, a start signal for the camera sequence circuit 14 is sent from the receiving circuit 10. It comes out and the release is done. In this manner, when the transmitter 2t is attached to the camera 1, the receiving circuit 10 having the light receiving element 4t'' is inactive, and even if the release button 3 is operated, the transmitting circuit having the light projecting element 5 is also inactive. There is no need for unnecessary power consumption*t-L during normal shooting when you do not operate the remote control to maintain the condition.
Further, when the transmitter 2t is removed from the camera 1 for remote control operation, the receiving circuit 10 is automatically turned on, which improves operability.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention provides a remote-controlled camera having a transmitter that can be attached to the camera. Since the transmitter is configured to be turned off when the transmitter is attached, it has the advantage of greatly improving e-operability and eliminating wasteful SIC power consumption.
