As shown in FIG. 1, in the general data highway system, a backup transmission line is installed, and when the station 105 fails, the monitoring station 100 issues an instruction to the stations 102 and 104 to turn back the transmission line. , the station 105 was disconnected. FIG. 4 shows this state.

Assume that station 405 is out of order.

04 transmits relay data to station 405. If station 405 is out of order, station 402 outputs 500, 404
The output 501 of the station 405 is cut off, but if the station 405 is restored, the input signals 500, 5
01 is relayed at station 405, 502,
Stations 402 and 404 can be input as 503. When the line at station 405 is in a loopback state, the line returns to route 502 from route 500. The same applies to 501 and 503. If station 405 is through, it will go from 500 to 503, and from 501 to 502.
become. At stations 402 and 404 adjacent to the restored station 405, the received signal from 405 can be detected via a receiving section. Frame synchronization can also be detected. The state changes of these repeaters can be readily seen by comparing them with the contents of memory 307 in FIG. Stations 402 and 404 catch this state change.
The control unit transmits status information to the monitoring station 400. Station 400 can know that 405 has been restored.

作が不要になるなどの利点がある。 As is clear from the above description, in the present invention, unlike the conventional system, the monitoring station causes stations adjacent to the failed station to monitor the failed station, so that no human operation is required. Furthermore, since changes in the status of the repeater are detected and notified to the monitoring station, the hardware is simple, and in particular, there is an advantage that complicated software operations are not required.
