PURPOSE:To secure the satisfactory correspondence to a CATV with a channel selector which is capable of remote control, by dividing a reception channel into plural areas and adding a means to select these divided areas. While the channel selection is carried out successively between ''1'' and ''24'' when the switch 10 is connected to B. Furthermore the channel selection is performed succesively between ''1'' and ''12'' when the switch 10 is connected to A. X14D)、受像チャンネルの順次選局キー(15U)
(15D)等が設けられている。 また(2)は遠隔制御の指令機であって、この指令機(
2)には、例えば1〜12の選局チャンネルを直接指定
する直接選局キー?■が設けられ、さらに音量増減の制
御キー(22UX22D) 、受像チャンネルの順次選
局キー(23U)(23D)等が設けられている。 さらに第5図は指令機(2)の内蔵回路であって、上述

ナOf)から供給される′電波放送のテレビの受像が行
われる。さらに上述のデータから選局されているチャン
ネル番号に応じた信号が表示デコーダ(至)に供給され
、選局されているチャンネル番号が表示部(6)で表示
される。 このようにして所望の電波放送のテレビの受像が行われ
る。 ここで電波放送される放送局の数は、日本の場合、−地
方ではVHF 、 UHF合せて最多でも8局程度であ
り、上述の直接選局キーは12個もあれば充分であった
。 ところで近年、いわゆるCATVの放送が検討されてお
り、この種の放送では設けられる12〜240チヤンネ
ルが全て放送されることになっている。 この場合に、そのような放送を受像する受像機において
その遠隔制御の指令機に電波放送と合せて24〜36個
もの直接選局キーを設けることは、機構的及びデザイン
の面でも極めて不都合である。 またCATVを未契約の使用者にとって、そのような不
用な選局キーが設けられることは操作の邪魔になり、誤
操作や誤解の原因となるおそれが多い。 これに対して、”0″〜”9”のいわゆる10キーを設
けて、VHF 、 UHF 、 CATVを問わず、チ
ャンネル番号を直接指示して選局を行う方法がある。し
かしながら、この方法では選局時、使用者に「10の桁
」「1の桁」「エンター」の3つの操作を行わせること
になり、アメリカのようにCATVで100近い放送を
選択する場合は仕方がないが、日本のように高々36程
度の放送の選択では操作が煩雑で不満が大きかった。 発明の目的 本発明はこのような点にかんがみ、簡単な構成で良好に
CATVに対応できるようにするものである。 発明の概要 本発明は、少くとも受信チャンネルをその番号の増加方
向及び減少方向に順次選局する第1及び第2の制御キー
を有し、これらの制御キーに対応する遠隔制御コード信
号を発生する遠隔制御指令機からの上記遠隔制御コード
信号が供給され、上記受信チャンネルを複数の領域に分
割し、この分割された領域の1または任意の複数を選択
する選択手段を有し、上記遠隔制御指令機からの信号に
よる上記順次選局が、上記選択された1または任意の複
数の領域の範囲内で行われるようにしてなる選局装置で
あって、これによれば簡単な構成で良好にCATVに対
応させることができる。 実施例 第1図において、例えば3接点の補助スイッチα1が設
けられ、第2図においてIC((N4からの信号がこの
スイッチα1に供給され、このスイッチC1Oの各接点
A、B、Cを通じてI(Jlに帰還される。またメモリ
