is installed. The inclined surfaces 2 are formed on the left and right sides of the covering portion of the pentaprism, and the photoelectric conversion section 3 is attached to both inclined surfaces 2. The photoelectric conversion unit 3 is attached to a window hole drilled in the inclined surface 2, and the window hole is large in order to attach a photoelectric conversion element with as large an area as possible. .
Therefore, by drilling the window hole, the mechanical strength of the upper cover 1 is insufficient, and external force may be applied directly to the covering portion for the pentaprism, or a strobe light emitter may be attached to the accessory shoe 4 attached to the covering portion. If a moment is applied when attaching or detaching the upper cover, there is a risk that the upper cover may be deformed or damaged, and there is also a risk that external light may leak from the window hole. Therefore, in the present invention, a photoelectric conversion unit mounting structure as described below is used.

According to the embodiment described above, the window hole made in the upper cover 1 is embedded in the photoelectric conversion element storage case 5 and the transparent cover 6, and the edge of the window hole in the upper cover 1 is connected to the case 5 and the cover. Since the upper cover 1 is sandwiched between the case 5 and the cover 6, the mechanical strength of the upper cover 1, which is reduced by making the window hole, is reduced by the case 5 and the cover 6.
This can be compensated for by the above, and can prevent the upper cover 1 from being deformed or damaged. Furthermore, since the outer peripheral surface of the opaque case 5 and the surface of the collar 5b that is perpendicular to the outer peripheral surface are joined to the edge of the window hole of the upper cover 1, light leakage can be completely prevented. Furthermore, the external force directly applied to the photoelectric conversion unit is
Since the external force is received by the surface of the upper cover 1 that is in contact with the photoelectric conversion element 8, the external force is prevented from being applied to the photoelectric conversion element 8, and damage to the photoelectric conversion element 8 can be prevented. In this way, the two photoelectric conversion sections attached to the two inclined surfaces 2, 2 of the upper cover 1 are connected by one flexible printed board 8 and introduced into a predetermined electric circuit.
