Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔発明の技術分野〕 本発明は情報の登録機能の充実を計った情報整理装置に
関する。
〔発明の技術的背景〕
従来、多くの情報整理装置が考案されている。
そしてこれらの多くの装置では、情報はある体系に従っ
て分類されており、また各情報にはいくつかの属性が付
加されている。情報を検索する際には、直接その情報の
分類名を入力する方法と、属性名を入力し、その属性の
付加されている情報を検索する方法とがある。前者は直
接アドレス法、後者は間接アドレス法と呼ばれている。
前者は必要とする情報がどの分類に含まれてるかを知っ
ている時に適用できる方法であり、後者は分類は知らな
いがその情報の属性、例えばタイトル、著者名、キーワ
ード等を知っている時に適用できる方法である。
現在、サービスされている特許や文献等の大規模なデー
タベースシステムでは、ユーザが必要となる情報を検索
するためだけのものであるが、今後は何人かのグループ
又は個人毎の小規模データベース、情報整理装置が普及
すると予想される。
〔発明の技術的背景とその問題点〕
従来の情報整理装置では情報の検索の容易さに主眼が置
かれていた。しかしグループ、個人毎の情報整理装置が
普及することにより、あらかじめ登録されている情報の
検索だけでなく、新しい情報や既存の情報を合成したも
のの保管、登録機能も情報整理装置におけるＭ要なもの
の一つとなることは明らかである。
情報を整理する際、昔から分類という処理が將によく行
なわれてきたが、分類された情報の中から必安なものを
検索する際には、その分類体系を十分に把握しておく必
要があり、非常に時間を要した。これは図書館で、自分
の専門外の文献を捜す時の事を思い起こすとよく分かる
。そこで情報に属性が付加されるようになり、例えば著
者、キーワード等でも必要′ｆ！、情報が検索されるよ
うになった。ここで分類名と属性名は異なった観点から
付けられたものであり、一般的には一致せず、逆に異な
っている方が好ましい。しかし属性名は多種多様に互り
、分類名と相関の強い属性名も存在すると予想される。
〔発明の目的〕
本発明は以上述べた点に基づき、情報が分類名と属性名
によって管理されている情報整理装置において、新たに
情報を入力する際、この情報に関連する属性を入力する
ことにより、この情報を登録すべき分類名の候補を表示
することで、登録の際のオペレータの処理を支援する機
能を有する情報整理装置を提供することを目的としてい
る。
〔発明の１日 本発明は情報が分類名と属性名で管理されている情報整
理装置において、新たに情報を入力する除、オペレータ
がこの情報に関連する属性名を入力することにより、シ
ステムはあらかじめ登録され−Ｃいる情報の分類名と属
性名の相関関係を調べ入力された属性名と相関の強い分
類名をその情報を登録すべき場所の候補として表示する
ようにしたものである。
〔発明の実施例〕
以下、本発明を図面を参照して詳細に説明する。
第１図は本発明の一実施例であり、文書画像が分類名と
属性名によって管理されている情報整理装置に適用した
ものである。
文書画像を文書画像入力部（１）より入力し、文書画像
メモリ部（２）へ記憶し、文書画像出力部に３）へ出力
する。
検索登録部（４１は文書画像を検索、登録する際に、文
書管理情報メモリ部（５）内の情報にアクセスし７、検
索、登録処理を制御する。
文書管理情報メモリ部（５）は文書画像の分類名、属性
名そしてこれら２つの管用」情報が記憶されている。
入力部（６）はオペレータが文書画像の検索、登録の際
に使用するコマンド及びパラメータとなる分類名、属性
名等を入力する装置であり、出力部（７）は検索結果及
び登録の際システムが提供する分類名の候補を発示する
装置である。
分類名選択部（８）は文書管理情報メモリ部（５）内の
分有１名と属性名の管胛情報から、属性名と相関の強い
分類名を選択する装置である。
制御部（９１は各部の制御及びデータの流れを制御する
ものである。
Ｖ工賃しく文書画像を登録する際の処理の流れを詳細に
説明する。ここでは文書画像メモリ部（２）と文硼管理
情報メモリ部（５）には情報が入力されているとする。
第２図に文書管理情報メモリ部（５）内にあらかじめ記
憶されている情報を示す。
（２０１）には分類名番号、分類名及びこの分類名及び
この分類に含まれる文書の番号が記憶されでいる。
（２０２）にＶｉ属性名番号、属性名及びこの属性が付
加されている文書の番号が記憶されている。
（２０３）には各分類に含まれる文書の中である属性が
伺加δれている文書の頻度が記憶されている。
この図の例では、分類名番号１の「電気電子」という分
類の中に、属性名番号１の「コノピユータ」という属性
の付加されている文書画像は１２３個である。
（２０４）は各文書画像に対し、その文書の含まれる分
類名と付加されている属性名が記憶されている。
新しく文書画像を入力する際、オペレータＵ最初に入力
部（６）からコマンドを入力し、入力すべき文書を文書
画像入力部（１）より入力し、文書画像メモリ部（２）
へＩＣ憶させる。次にオペレータはシステムに分類名の
候補を表示させるコマンドを人力し、このコマンドのパ
ラメータとして先に入力した文書画像に関連する属性名
を入力する。次にオペレータはシステムから表示きれた
分類名の候補を参考にし、新しく入力した文■が含捷れ
る分類名を決定し、登録する。
前述の処理において、システムが入力された属性名から
分類名の候補を選択する部分について次に説明する。こ
の処理は第１図の分力′Ｉ名選択部（８）で行なわれる
。
分類名選択部（８）は入力された属性名の各分類名に対
する頻度を第２図の（２０３）から取り出す。そして頻
度の多い分類名を人力された属性名と有用劉の強いもの
として選択する。頻度があるｆｉｌ値以下の場合は分類
名の候補を選択しない。入力さオＬ′に属性名が複数個
の場合は各属性名の類ＩＷをこの頻度の船首１で正規化
し、この正規化された頻度を分類名毎に加えたものを入
力された属性名の頻度とする。
そしてこの頻度の多い分類名を選択する。頻度の多い分
類名を上位から何個が娑択するかね、珂ベレータが指示
する。
第３図は前述の処理における属性名頻度をグラフに表わ
したものである。
横軸が分類名番号であり、縦軸が属性名頻度である。
（３０１）、（３０２）はある属性名の頻度を表わした
ものである。オペレータが１個の属４１名を入力し、こ
れ（（対応する頻度が（３０１）であり、閾値が（３１
０）であった時は分類名の候補として分類名番号７と１
５が順に選択される。（３０３）は属性が２個（（３ｏ
ｔ）と（３０２）　）入力きれ、それぞれを正規化し、
加算したものである。この場合、（３０１）に対し頻度
のピークが分類名番号７と１５にあり、（３０２）　Ｋ
対しては１５にあり、結果として１５と７が順に分類名
の候補として選択される。この様に属性名が複数個入力
された場合頻度のピークが重なる分類名が優先的に選択
される。
〔発明の効果〕
以上述べた様に本発明を適用することにより、オペレー
タは新しい文書をある分類体系に位置づける際に、その
文書に関連する属性を入力するととにより、システムが
位置づける分類名の候補を表示してくれるため、オペレ
ータは迅速に新しい文書を登録することができる。こ′
ｉ′Ｌは特に１メ１摺館において新着図書を登録する際
に効果が発揮される。又、グループ、個人ｊＵのイｆｆ
報整理装置ｇ（においても新しい情報をファイリングす
る際に本発明は有効である。
〔他の実施例〕
前述の実施例では、宿！７数蘭の属性名が入力された際
、それぞれの頻度をそれぞれのり用度の）上針で正規化
し、加算し、その値の大きい順に分類名の候補を選択し
たが、止り、ｌＬ化したものの乗算した値を使用しても
同様の鉤体を得７つことができる。又本発明は文書画１
オにのみ適用できるので泪なく、情報が分で３名と属性
名によって管理されているものならすべてに適用可能で
を）る。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）情報を分類名と属性名とで管理する情報整理装置
    において、情報と該情報の分類名と属性名とこれらを管
    理する情報を記憶しておくメモリ部と、属性名を入力す
    る属性名人力部と該属性名人力部により入力された属性
    名と相関の強い分類名を選択する分類名選択部と、該分
    類名選択部により選択された分類名を表示する分類名表
    示部とを有することを特徴とする情報整理装置。
