Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the specified input levels to an RFAGC circuit for voice and to provide the improvement in C/N of output and S/N of a reproduced sound signal by detecting the presence or absence of the recording of a video signal and changing over the gains of head amplifiers for voice. 路8で混合され、記録時にはスイッチ14.16が記録
側(R側)になり、前記混合回路8の出力が回転ヘッド
シリンダ16に取りつけられたアジマス角の異なる音声
専用磁気ヘッド17,18によシ磁気テープ(図示せず
)に記録される。一方再生時には、磁気テープから音声
専用磁気ヘッド17.18の再生出力がスイッチ14.
16を介してヘッドアンプ19.20にて増幅され、制
御端子21に加えられる音声専用ヘッドスイッチパルス
により、スイッチ22を交互に切換えることにより連続
したFM変調音声信号を得、RFAGC回路23に入力
し、音声専用磁気ヘッド出力のバラツキを補正するRF
AGC回路23の出力を第1の帯域通過フィルタ24に
入力もし、左信号のFM変調成分(搬送波1.3MHz
)のみを取り出し、第1のFM復調器25に入力し、左
信号成分を復調し、低域通過フィルタ26で音声帯域(
20Hz 〜20 KHz )のみ取シ出し、ディ・エ
ンファシス回路27、ノイズ低減回路28を順次経過し
て左信号出力端子29から出力する。またRFAGC回
路23の出力を第2の帯域通過フィルタ30に入力し、
右信号のFM変調成分(搬送波1.7MH2)のみを取
り出し、第2のFM復調器31に入力し、右信号成分を
復調し、低域通過フィルタ32で音声帯域のみ取りする
。またVH8方式VTRにおいては回転ヘッドシリンダ
に音声専用磁気ヘッドと映像専用ヘッドが独立にあり、
磁気テープには音声専用磁気ヘッドでFM変調音声信号
を記録した上にさらに映像専用ヘッドでFM変調映像信
号を記録するため、記録済FM変調音声信号の一部は消
され、再生時の音声専用磁気ヘッドの再生出力はFM変
調映像信号を記録しない場合に比較して大幅に(約12
dB )低下する。そのためヘッドアンプ19.20の
利得は極めて大きくなり、かつ音声専用磁気ヘッドでF
M変調音声信号のみを記録した磁気テープを再生する場
合もあるので、RFAGC回路23のAGC範囲を広く
する必要があり、RFAGC回路23の出力におけるC
/N比の低下及びヘッドスイッチノイズ幅が大きくなる
