Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はホッパー内面の物体のレベルの測定方法に関す
る。
従来のホッパー内面レベル計は、一点あるいは数点の位
置のレベルを測定していた。ホッパー内の物体の全体積
を算定するため、あるいは後続物体のホッパーからのオ
ーバーフロー防止のために、ホッパー内面全域にわたり
レベル測定することが必要である。
以下本発明の一実施例を図面を参照ビて説明する。第１
図中のホッパー７の内面の物体８０レベルをめるため、
非接触距離計１により、物体８の表面までの距離１０を
測定する。非接触距離計１は走査機構２によって鉛直線
１１と任意の角度９を成すように駆動される。電子回路
４は角度信号５と距離信号６の信号を受けて、ホッパー
内の物体のレベルを演算する。
非接触距離計は、光学式、電波式、超音波式などが考え
られる。ホッパーに投入する物体のレベルを精度よく測
定するには上記方式のうち波長の短いものがよく、光学
式が最も波長が短いので正確である。但し可視光線は物
体粉塵により散乱されるので赤外線が光源であることが
必要である。
第１図中３拡エアパージフアンであり、非接触距離計に
物体粉塵等が付着するのを防ぐ。走査機構２で走査され
る角度９は８ｇ１図の紙面内に限らず、紙面に直角方向
も含んで良い。ホッパー内の任意の点の物体のレベルは
次の式でめられる。
（レベル）＝（距離）ｘ　（ＣＯ８角度）。
以上の説明のように本発明によりホッパー内の任意の点
のレベルが測定できる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、非接触距離計と、非接触距離計を機械走査させる走
    査機構とで、ホッパー内面の物体表面までの距離をめ、
    距離信号を電子回路で信号処理して、ホッパー内面のレ
    ベルを測定することを特徴とする、ホッパー内面レベル
    の測定方法。 ２、上記非接触距離計の光源が赤外線光源であることを
    特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載のホッパー内面レ
    ベルの測定方法。
