Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture formed products for keyboard of which printing is clear for a long time by such an arrangement wherein a transparent film is pasted to the back of a relief pattern made of ultraviolet ray hardening type resin and a printed layer of characters, etc. is applied to the back of said film. CONSTITUTION:In a recessed groove of a forming mold, paste of ultraviolet ray hardening type resin (e.g., urethane acryl, epoxy acryl family resin) is injected and over the resin a transparent plastic film 11 is pasted with pressure applied and the resin is hardened by irradiating ultraviolet rays, and further, characters, symbols, etc. are printed 19 on the back of said plastic film. Since the printed layer 19 exists at the back of a push-button like pattern 9a through a transparent plastic film layer, printed characters will not be worn away during use for a long period. This product is suitable to the manufacture of soft nature plates for keyboard of electronic device, display panel, nameplate, etc. It is also easy to manufacture and low in cost, since ultraviolet hardening type resin is used.

Conventional soft dials for keyboards have often been manufactured using screen printing. Further, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 57-51405, a push button-shaped protrusion pattern also made of vinyl chloride resin is fixed to the top surface of the vinyl chloride resin leather, and characters or symbols are printed on the top surface of the pattern. However, the printing may disappear during long-term use.

In addition, because the push button-like protruding pattern is created by gelling the paste vinyl chloride resin, a large amount of heat is required for manufacturing, and the molding process takes time and cannot be provided at a low price.

The present invention was invented in order to eliminate these drawbacks. Therefore, the purpose of the present invention is to have a protruding pattern with very excellent physical properties, to make letters, symbols, etc. difficult to erase (and to be able to supply it at low cost). To provide products and their manufacturing methods,
In order to achieve this object, the present invention molds a protruding pattern on the surface using an ultraviolet curable resin, adheres a transparent synthetic resin film or sheet to the back side of the protruding pattern, and within the frame of the protruding pattern, the A printed layer is provided on the back surface of the film or sheet, and the printed layer is made visible through the film or sheet, and a paste-like ultraviolet curing resin is applied to the intaglio pattern on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary body that is free to rotate. A transparent synthetic resin film or sheet is pressed onto the outer peripheral surface of the rotating body before the resin hardens, and ultraviolet rays are irradiated from the film or sheet side to form the protruding pattern in the intaglio pattern. The gist is that the film or sheet is integrated with the film or sheet, peeled off from the rotating body, and printed on the back side of the film or sheet within the frame of the protruding pattern.
