滴として記録紙に向けて噴射される。−非印字時には、
インク室内の静圧力とノズルまたはオリフィスにおける
インクの表面張力とによりインクが平衡状襲を保つ。し
たがって、非印字時にノズルまたはオリフ゛イスにおい
てインク5が外気と直接にさらされるこ、とになシ、非
印字状伸が永く継続するとノ゛ズルまたはオリフィスで
インク艇固まり、□目づまりを起こし易かった。とのた
めに実用化さ□れている多くのインクジェットプリンタ
は、目づまり防上のために種々の方策が施こされており
、これが製造コストの上昇を招来していた。また、公知
のインクジェットプリンタでは印字後に直ぐに紙面に触
れるとインクをひきずり紙面が汚れてしまうし、目づま
りを防止することを重視してインクの特性を決定すると
