も特別に大間りな設備とならず、船の種類を問わず広範
に実施でき、又在米のプロペラの僅かな改良程度のもの
であるから、これにより船体の有効利用スペースを縮小
させたり、船体重量等を増大させるといった様な欠点が
解消でき、更には、特定の船にあっては舵を廃止させる
ことも可能でありこの面からの船価の低減も計り得る等
、簡単な構造でありながら、その実用上の効果は頗る大
なる特徴を有するものである。
