シミリ装置に予め備えであるオペレータコール用発声手
段を利用して、電話回線からの音声帯域信号を監視する
ことができ、また、必要に応じて録音もし得るようにし

電話器9からファクシミリ装置用の変復調回路(モデム
)、2に切換え接続されている。しかして、変復調回v
′Iコは、電話回線からの信号を復調し、もしくは、制
御部3からの信号による搬送信号の変調を行なって電話
回線に送出するものであり、ファクシミリ通信に際して
、エラーの発生や通信の終了などをオペレータに知らせ
るには、その都度、制御部3からオペレータコール用信
号を出力して、切換えスイッチ6およびスピーカ増幅器
りを介してスピーカgから放声する。すなわち、ファク
シミリ装置が通常のファクシミリ通信の使用状態にある
ときには、切換えスイッチ6は制御部3の側に切換え接
続されており、オペレータコール用信号がスピーカgに
供給される〇
一方、保守サービス時などの必要に応じ、切換えスイッ
チ6が帯域フィルタSの側に切換え接続されている場合
には、ハイインピーダンス入力回路yおよび帯域フィル
タSを介し、ファクシミリ通信中にそのファクシミリ信
号に重畳して入来する音声帯域信号をファクシミリ信号
から分離抽出してスピーカgから放声することができる
。なお、そのハイインピーダンス入力回路q自体の出力
信号により切換えスイッチ6を制御して、電話回線に音
声帯域信号が重畳して同時に入来したときに、自動的に
切換えスイッチ6が帯域フィルタs側に切換え接続され
るようにすることもできる。また、スピーカ増幅器7の
出力側に録音用端子//を設けておき、その音声帯域信
