Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable automatic receiving of private branch exchange subscribers without the aid of an operator, by providing the function to transfer PBX extension number to PBX in public network and providing the function to receive and analyze this extension number in PBX. CONSTITUTION:A subscriber A dials large private branch number and extension number. Received dial number is analyzed by CC of LS-1, received by an inter station transferring section 8, analyzed by CC of LS-2, and a path to PBX-2 is selected. Out of dial numbers received by LS-2, extension number is transmitted to the signal transmitting and receiving section 10. On receiving the extension number, CC of PBX-2 analyzes this, and calls relevant subscriber B. When the subscriber B replies to the subscriber B is connected to the subscriber's line under receiving. Thus, a communication path is completed between subscribers A and B.

(2) Conventional technology and problems In conventional telephone, data, and facsimile exchanges,
For subscribers housed in private branch exchanges (PBXs), calls must be made through an operator or by cutting to an individual subscription number, and it is impossible to receive calls to any subscriber when the operator is not present. Therefore, there were limitations on communication during emergencies.

(4) Structure and object of the invention According to the present invention, in a system for receiving calls from a public network to a telephone set or a data terminal housed in a private branch exchange, a means for storing a representative number and an extension number in a public network, and an extension number The constituent exchange has means for receiving the extension number and means for analyzing the extension number, and when a call is received to a subscriber within the private branch exchange, the calling party receives the "main number". + extension number", the terminating private branch exchange receives and analyzes the extension number, determines whether the terminating terminal matches the service requested by the public network, and then responds to the extension number. This is achieved by providing a subscriber connection system accommodating a private branch exchange, which is characterized by terminating calls at a receiving terminal.

After connection, the signal transmitting/receiving unit (B) 7 transmits the extension number and service class using, for example, an FSK signal. Parity checks and the like are performed on these transmitted information to detect data errors. The signal transmitting/receiving unit C10 receives this signal and returns an abnormal reception confirmation signal if the signal is not received correctly. In the latter case, the signal transmitting/receiving section (B) 7 retransmits the data.
