Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent burr generation, by a method wherein a glass plate is placed and grasped in an injection mold after a seal and buffer member is mounted to the outer peripheral edge of said glass plate and a frame part is molded while a slit is formed along the inner peripheral edge of the frame part to remove the residual buffer member. CONSTITUTION:A seal and buffer member 7 formed into a shape having a U- shaped cross sectional area from rubber or a soft synthetic resin is mounted to the entire outer peripheral edge of a glass plate 2 so as to cover both surface of said glass plate 2 and the whole is placed in an injection mold. In this state, a molten hard synthetic resin is injected into the cavity constituted of a cavity mold 4, a core mold 5 and the outer peripheral edge of the glass plate 2 from a gate G to form a frame part 3. After the molten resin is solidified, the molds are opened to take out an operating window while a slit is formed to the buffer material along the inner peripheral edge 31 of the frame part 3 by a sharp knife and the residual buffer material 71 is removed to complete the operating window.

However, in such a conventional manufacturing method, when the glass plate 2 is held between the injection molds,
There were problems such as the glass plate being damaged and the molten resin leaking between the glass plate and the core mold and cavity mold, causing pars, which had to be removed by one person. After attaching a seal and loose fitting member made of a rubber-like elastic material to the outer periphery of the glass plate and having a cross-sectional shape, the glass plate is placed in an injection mold and clamped to form a frame. The purpose of this invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems by making a 41st cut in the seal/rain dampening member along the inner peripheral edge of the frame and removing the remaining cushioning member.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below in detail based on the drawings.
Figure 4 is a front view of the glass plate 2 of the opera window. It is made in the shape of a roughly triangular flat plate whose width gradually increases from the top to the bottom.Figure 5 shows the entire outer periphery of the glass plate 2. This is a front view showing a state in which a seal/buffer part 7, which is made of rubber or soft synthetic resin and has a substantially U-shaped cross section, is attached to the periphery of the glass plate so as to cover both sides of the glass plate. 5 is a sectional view taken along line A-A in FIG. 5. FIG. In FIG. 6, the general shock absorbing material 7 includes a side portion 71 that covers the side edges of the glass plate, an upper surface cloth 72 that covers both surfaces, and a lower surface portion 73 that are integrally formed.
2. rlj of the lower surface portion 73 is made wider than fj in the inner peripheral direction of the frame.

The glass plate with the loosening member attached to the outer edge is then placed in the injection mold as shown in FIG. The structure is such that the glass 2 can be inserted slowly through the S material 7. In other words, the gap when both the protrusions 4 of the cavity mold 4 and the protrusions 51 of the core mold are closed is: It is set to be slightly smaller than the thickness of the glass plate 2 plus the thickness of the upper surface part 72 and lower part 73 of the glass plate 7.

In this state, a frame is formed by injecting a bath-molten resin made of hard synthetic material such as 11 ft of ABS wood through the gate G into the space formed by the cavity mold 4, the core mold 5, and the outer edge of the glass plate 2. Section 3 is formed. In addition,
In the figure, P indicates an ejector bottle. After the 0-bath melt resin has solidified, the mold is opened and the opera window is taken out. As shown in Figure 8, a sharp knife etc. The opera window is completed by making a cut in the loose flank and removing the remaining #;j:2 gun 4'A73 as shown in Figure 9.

As explained above, in the method of manufacturing an opera window for a motor vehicle according to the present invention, when the frame portion 3 is formed by A-in-die molding, the entire outer periphery of the glass plate 2 is made of a rubber-like elastic material. The mold is clamped using a loose powder material, and the bath melt resin is injected to form the frame.
The loose material acts as a seal and prevents the occurrence of cracks due to resin leakage. In addition, since the cushioning material is made of a soft material with high elasticity, such as rubber, after molding the frame,
This has the effect that the remaining relaxing material can be easily removed by making a cut with a knife or the like.

In addition, in this embodiment, an example is described in which the loose insertion I-shaped section 7 is formed into a cross-sectional shape, but it is not necessarily limited to the cross-sectional shape.
You can prepare a sheet and fix it to the outer edge of the glass board with adhesive or adhesive.
